Make a bet with your parents. xD If you practice so much then they'll get something for you. Unless they don't really care if you practice.
I made a bet that if I practiced 5 hours a week over summer I could start acoustic guitar in August. 5 hours in the summer is a lot because I barely practice in the summer... |

You just have to get up and do it, set a goal for yoruself, if you hear of a player that amazes you, set a goal to be good enough to play with them or as good as them someday. You've got to have a motivation to practice otherwise you're just going to continue to push it off. |

The one I have now is really awesome. It's a Romanian brand called Euro. <3 |

Then it got too small (it was 3/4) and I had to get a new one.
And I got a brand new never used just out of the factory one.
And I've been using that one for less than a year...in September it would be a year. |

But I'm planning to start again maybe next year in school.
Except the other kids will probably be better then me, since I took a break.

Usually I can pick up instruments pretty quick,
but with violin I just couldn't!

i'm kind of nervous for next year, because i got into concert orchestra. i didn't think i would. i don't like being in the middle of the orchestra [which i most definitely will... i'm not as good as 11th or 12th graders] XD i'm used to being concertmaster.
XD at least i convinced my mom to get me private lessons over the summer, since i normally don't practice at all for the three months... |
