Anyways, as I said before, they never really taught me anything. But when I go through hard times, I tend to turn to them for comfort. It doesn't heal me, but it makes me feel like I'm not alone. I guess that is what I learned- that I'm not really alone, because I learned about their problems and met other fans with similarities, so I'm not the only one to go through something like this.

they didn't really taught me this, but they really helped me to never ever give up. to fight when life is against me. to rise up when i'm down. to be myself.

This might sound dumb, but they taught me to like music again. I went through a period of about 5 years where I never listened to any music at all... (Occasionally I would turn on the radio, never really paid that much attention to it.) Hell, the only reason I picked up TBP was because I liked the art on the cover, and when I popped it into my computer and listened to it, I was instantly reminded of what I was missing.

I'm gonna stop now, don't want to turn this into a rant. I guess this seems a bit out of place considering most of the other replies are things along the lines of "don't give up" and such.
