I used to be a huge MCR fan until their new album came out.
I'm a very honest person and i'm outspoken. Don't send me hate mail, i'm just telling you guys my opinion. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 120 | June 9th, 2007 at 11:28am It is a fact that they are becoming commercial. I do think that tbp is really toned down and a pretty commercialised but i don't hate them cos they're gaining more recognition! i think they deserve it. only time will tell if they stay true to their music |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 120 | June 9th, 2007 at 11:34am i used to think that way but not anymore. i mean it's not within their means if mtv of some teenybopper magazine decides that they're the next big thing right? why would you say that they sold out? |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 120 | June 9th, 2007 at 11:41am Oh i get it. yeah. well, they said music needed to change. i don't know. it still seems funny to me because what i fell in love with in the first place was their music style. it just doesn't make sense to me to change their style because i liked them for the way their music sounded . |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 46256 | June 9th, 2007 at 02:56pm They've gotten older and more mature.
They changed so fans wouldn't get bored with them, which happens with so many other people and bands. |

They had LOTS of fans already at the Revenge era.
No real fan would get bored- I mean, yeah, I don't like TBP but I'm not bored with them- I just have a break with listening to they're music, though I still like the band.
Older and more mature? Well, we can argue on that... |

How are they not more mature. They definitely aren't the band writing about vampires and zombies (despite them being metaphors) anymore. |

They're album does sound different, but it's still mcr. Every band changes it's sound now and then. I bet their next album will blow us al away! |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 498 | June 9th, 2007 at 05:55pm I think they deserve even more publicity then they are now. They're the most underrated band in the world right now. Everybody thought Queen sold out when they started getting more and more popular but u wouldn't say that they're not as good because of it would u?? |

Sold out means where you write a song for the purpose of attracting a certain
group or youth. Selling out is NOT becoming big or selling loads of
CD's , because in that case Evanescence and Slipknot sold out ages ago.
But they have not sold out. I don't think they ever will. Gerard is the man that
will never stop believing in himself and the band, because if he didn't, the band and
himself would not be here today. Or at least not making music together.
The moment Gerard Way says ;
'I think I'll write a song about sex to fit in with all the other jerks out there'
Is the moment when we know My Chemical Romance have sold out.
Case motherfucking closed.
