That's why i'm never getting into Idol EVER again. lol
x_pansy:I don't care who wins at this point, I still reckon Ben should have made at least the top 3, but we all know that Idol is a dodgy competition...so I hate the damn competition but yea I got strangely addicted and had to keep watching even though I said I wouldn't XD lol
So Matt and Nat will both get picked up by labels and the one who comes second will probably do better. I think Natalie could handle winning better than Matt though, Sony would probably destroy Matt. But hey, Matt's probably got it in the bag so lets just pray he doesn't get turned into Dean Geyer!!

i missed last nights show coz i was out, but my friend was texting me with updates every few minutes.
Even though Matt's my favourite [apart from Ben, but he left  ] i want him to come second because the runner up always seems to be more successful *cough* Shannon Noll > Gay Sebastion *cough* |

But I was just listening to some of his stuff, and I really like his voice.
And, on Sunday, he is apparently singing Mind's Eye by Wolfmother.

I have no idea why he was so un-confident with that, it was so beautiful. Waaaaaaaaaay better than the original.
And I think I almost died laughing when he sand Minds Eye.
Nothing against him, I thought he did an awesome job.

I know what you mean Asha, that was so sad! I dunno if Matt needs the pressure of winning, Im not saying he can't handle it but maybe he would be better off?
Im not fussed really though. I think I will just sit on the fence and be happy no matter which way it turns out.

I've been reading all these interviews of the final two and the vibe I get from him is that he didn't expect to go this far. In fact, he expected to be all happy with his girlfriend-to-be now because she's finished her exams. Which is great, all the power to them- they'll be happy. Natalie should win, because they can ruin her all they want (no offense to anyone who likes her, but I'm getting a stroung Young Diva thing from her). But Matt should continue to be who he is, and make wonderful music that isn't influenced by some guy who wants to make money. And that's what's going to happen- he'll be "Geyer-ed" |
