| JaysTrblMkr Bleeding on the Floor Age: 48 Gender: Female Posts: 1298 | And I had the little 2 year old boy, Jaryd, I day home, dancing like crazy to Teenagers the other day!! It was sooooo cute!! (This is one of those times it's probably good he's behind in his speech and doesn't pick up words well yet, even though I sang Crap instead of Shit!) And the other lady I day home, will be bringing her new daughter, Tayla, home in the next week!! For being born 6 weeks early she's doing AWESOME! She didn't need the breathing or feeding tubes!! Page Claim...Named: Wahoo for the Miracle Baby, Tayla!! |
| JaysTrblMkr Bleeding on the Floor Age: 48 Gender: Female Posts: 1298 | I'm sure you have nothing to worry about Deb, I'm watching the tour dates, whenever I can tear the computer away from my 16 year old son, the 17 year old girl living with us, not to mention my 8year old daughter who HAS to check her Bratz and my 6 yr. old son checking his Webkinz and Test Tube Alien, then of course thiers my Mom who's stuck in the house ALL the time and is addicted to playing POGO games! No wonder I do all my catching up at work!! LOL!! I'll send some extra Prayers to your Best Friends Mum, while I'm sending them Frank's Family!! ![]() |
| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | Tabitha the Comic Book Whore, at everyone's service! Seriously, I feel like a pusher. I was hooking up one of my parents (from one of the kids in my program) with TUA, and I have another program parent who collects my "dad's" books, so I get those for him, (signed, if we get together around drop day) and I've sent Loz and Jules comics now too, and I have to add a 3rd copy of TUA to my sub so I can get them for Deb. I feel like I should be on a street corner wearing a trenchcoat stuffed with comics. People would be like, "Hey, man, you got any Morrison?" And I'd be like, "Nope, just sold my last one, I can give you some Mignola to tide you over..." *giggle* Jules, I had to smile reading about Tayla, I was concerned, thanks for the update. I wish there were something we could do about the other baby. I think while I'm up North I'll teach my 4 year old nephew some MCR songs -- without censoring them! I just hope he grows up knowing that there *is* more than country music in the world. Maybe I'll teach him the "You wanna see how far down I can sink? Let me go! FUCK!" part of Disappear. His father will love that. ![]() Sarahbob, I just found out they don't let cameras into the theater. So I'll just have to describe everything for you. |
| Green Faerie Salute You in Your Grave Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2903 | ^^^ Lol, that image of a comic book pusher made me giggle. I'm really getting eager for the CD/DVD now I really hope everything's okay for Frank and that it's not something bad. I really hope it's not a bereavement. *sigh* I'm going to see Jimmy Eat World in under a week. I wish I was as excited as I was for MCR, or even a fraction of the amount. I feel really ungrateful... it's going to be 2000 capacity at the max, whereas my MCR concert was 12,000, and I was hyperventilating at the thought of getting there. I do like the band alot but i'm afraid my brain can only run on the MCR level most of the time. *ponders how to increase excitement* (Shakes head, clearly my subconcious is in a dirty mood, because that last line really didn't sound right either!) |

| pansyrevenge Killjoy Age: - Gender: - Posts: 8 | To My Chemical Romance I am eternally greatfull for what you have done for me. And i think that you are truly the best band. Because you do have meaning, and you went out on a mission to save kids lives. And that is simple touching and incredible. All of the words that people like me say, are true but are never going to justify how much we love you and how thankful we are to you. We're going to stick by you boys. Because you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. Thank you. so much. xoxoxoxPansy, MCRmy forever and always |

| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | ^ All we know is that he didn't play last night. It's up for grabs as to the reason at the moment. |
| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | *sigh* It just hasn't been a good year for him, has it? *sends good thoughts to Frankie* Hope things get better for you soon, Frankie. We love you. |
| JaysTrblMkr Bleeding on the Floor Age: 48 Gender: Female Posts: 1298 | Hopefully the rest of the year will look up for him! Tabitha, I hope your Godbabies are doing better, too, I'm sending some extra Prayers their way! |
| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | ^^ Oh, I thought I told you: Ashley's home and doing great. Mom says there's nothing wrong with her lungs now -- guess she takes after auntie! I need to get after her to dress her in the MCR onesie and send a pic so I can share it with you. I posted kind-of a stupid question in the tour board, and will ask here as well: How's the weather in the Chicagoland area in April? Do I need to go and buy a few thermies, or can I get by with a tee and hoodie? |
| The Original Bob. Demolition Lover Age: 26 Gender: Female Posts: 16672 | FRANKIE!!! Jeez, he's not having a good year is he? Well I hope he gets better soon, or whatever it is is all fixed and good. Just sending postive thoughts and love to him. And you guys on the thread. Hope you're having a good weekend. |
| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | Tab I am so happy to hear that Ashley is doing well now! Tara, are your boys all better now as well? Sarah, how is your friend holding up? My Chemical Romance, Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray, Bob, if you are reading this, on behalf of imnotokay.net, please humbly accept our apologies, on behalf of the much less considerate segment of the fanbase, for the constant invasion of your space and privacy as if you are exhibits in a museum. I swear to you that most of us still respect you as musicians and as people, and if you just hang in there, and hang onto your roots, this will get better. The stalkerish teenies will find another target and you'll get your lives back again. We're so sorry, you guys xoxo Deb |
| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | ^^ I'll second that. Well said. |
| JaysTrblMkr Bleeding on the Floor Age: 48 Gender: Female Posts: 1298 | I'll third and fourth that,Deb!! |
| kid from yesterday. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1265 | -sneaks in- I'll fifth that. |
| tabitha Bleeding on the Floor Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | Okay, after reading that, I got curious, and went into the Rumors thread. Holy cow. "Well, well, well, here we go again" indeed. There are some seriously angry people in this world, and I would like to know what the fuck happened in their childhoods that they can be so hateful and demeaning to others. Seriously, I had a lot of crap and I turned out relatively normal. These people have been simmering in their own anger and hatred for so long, they can't stand it that others are not living in misery as they are. Grow up, get a nice creative hobby, spend some time outside in the sunshine, and try to fix what's wrong with YOU first before you point out every little flaw in others. And as for the video, oy. I'm almost embarrassed to call myself an MCR fan, because that associates me with those girls. I've been around that kind of stuff, and it is not pretty. If I were ever so blessed as to see the boys, it would be simply thanking them for their music or talking to them about comics, because they're just people. And if it were in a public place like that, it would be a wave and a smile, and maybe a "Thank you for everything" if they were close enough to hear me (using a normal voice, not screaming it across the room). No one has the right to grab them, grope them, or scream those things at them. Basic. Human. Decency. Have some! It's tasty! |
| x..touching_hands..x Really Not Okay Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 730 | Having read the above posts, I'm going to ignore the Rumours thread, because there's enough hate in the world without me encouraging it. But given that ,Deb and Tabitha, you are both held very highly in my opinion, I back you up none the less. I don't need to be involved in any unpleasantness to know that it is unnecessary, and usually (forgive my french) bullshit. If you are lucky enough to meet someone you admire, give them the (excuse my french) fucking respect they deserve. So that's my piece. Tabitha - when I get my copy of TUA (we're a week behind you in the UK) I promise you a proper comic geek chat, k? Hey Green Faerie - are you seeing Jimmy Eat World at the Roundhouse by any chance? Cause I am gonna be at that show! My friend just bought me Ghost in the Shell 1.5, which is the "lost" parts of the manga that never got printed in this country...the artwork alone made me dribble. Shirow Masamune is a god, and should be worshipped thus. |
| Person0001 Always Born a Crime Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | TY Lauren I love this motherfucking thread. |
| Green Faerie Salute You in Your Grave Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2903 | x..touching_hands..x: Lol, I'm seeing it via Liverpool Uni, on the Friday. I'm actually getting quite excited about it now, because I know my stubborn side alone will guarantee me a good view. I don't think i'm the kind of person who can survive sitting nicely at a concert, I want to be in the thick of it, Lol. |
