how do you feel about it?
do you think that it solves anything?
or do you think that there are certain circumstances when someone just needs to get the crap kicked out of them?
do you think that our generation may be to violent?

lets discuss it

I don't think that's quite true.

For example, someone randomly beating up someone.
They weren't experiencing violence before they started beating up someone.
They started it without having violence put their way.

If that makes sense.

violence doesnt solve anything. the only thing that it does is start more and want people to retaliate. which is ridiculous! so i dont think its a great thing! as im sure most of you dont like it either!!1

But the reason why that person acted violently is because someone had acted violently on them once....be it 5 years ago...if no violent acts were ever inflicted on us, we wouldnt beat the shit out of some bitch ( or whoever )is running her mouth..thats my opinion, its a bit warped but then again thats me

^^ I don't know.
You can just be violent even if you've never had it at you before.

I rather hate when people act in violence; it only results in pain, and violence normally only breeds more violence... It's pitiful... However, I cannot say that I'm opposed to watching violent anime and playing violent video games, lol!!

Aggression is good or when your angry you beat the shit out of something, but when you take it on someone, it just creates more violence, fear or/and hatred. Not good. Unless you only do it to your four brothers, when your from a first Irish generation family. Then it's requiredRazz

Whether it solves anything depends on just how violent you get and how good you are at dodging blame.

I think that violence is unavoidable but has been taking to great heights. I mean there has been to much senless violence caused by the american media. I also think that there is to much violence in our generation. So far we've been taught to kill or be killed

Violence deep down is hardwired in all of us i rekon i mean all of us are capable of doing so and all of us have contimplated it and alot of us have actually dished out some brutal damage .

but the truth is that sometiems violence was needed to settle things
i mean if we didnt fight back in world war two i could be speaking fluent japanese or most of europe would be speaking in german.

but im not pro violence or anything
im just saying we cant be one sided about a topic and say that
violence solves nothing
when the truth is that in some rare occaison we need it .

all very good points. i think that sometimes violence is needed, for example when something like a Holocaust happens, you gotta step in and kick the crap out of the dude responsible.

but also another question of mine, does anyone think that maybe violence is therapeutic in a way?

for example, i remember being 7 or 8 and asking my dad for a punching bag for xmas, he thought i should get a barbie instead, so i used to hang a pillow on something and just wack away at it when i was angry and it helped calm me down, its actually a big stress releaser.

what do you all think about it?

Violence sucks, I never start fights. Just finish them xD

But when it comes to violence i ant escape it, I live in a neighbour hood full of coons (drunken and violent aboriginals (aboriginals are indigenous aussie ppl))
So I have to live with it all the time, specially if i ride around on moped with friend at night.

I wish this world had no violence... Kinda like Star Trek
