Happy Birthday Black Parade
me exactly Paint It Black:a year.. wow! I'll be honest, I didn't get the album until early November. I have counted myself as a fan since the very day I got the album and realized that this album, and this band, is something very special. I still feel the same way when I listen to TBP. It's an amazing CD. Or, as Gerard would say, it's epic

Age: 31 Gender: Male Posts: 245 | October 27th, 2007 at 06:35pm I remember when it got leaked. And how I was hearing so much good things by my friends who downloaded the leak. I was so afraid to check it out. Just for the fact I wasn't sure how to really interpret it. So I downloaded it. And loved it. Revived my interest in the band. And I bought the album the day after I downloaded it. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 1445 | October 28th, 2007 at 06:37am Wow. I can't believe it's been a whole year since the album was finally released. All the success and publicity make it seem like it was only a few months ago.
I remember me and my best friends were counting down the days [We had to wait a day or two longer for the release in Australia] and when we finally got it pandemonium broke loose.
The first time I listened to it all the way through I was laying on my bed and I was sobbing and the only thing i could think was 'Fuck. They've done it again.'
I remember how hard I laughed when i heard Gerard's mock cabaret antics in Blood and singing it around the house like a madman.
Dressing up as The Patient for Halloween, watching all the interviews, the music vids, seeing them skyrocket in the charts. And then finally seeing them live, fulfilling my 2 year wish.
It makes me kinda proud watching my boys grow up from the little misunderstood, drunken quintet into the more professional, humbled men they are today. Growing up with them has been an honor.
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, TBP! |
