Hello, I'm not sure of this should be here, or if this is worth it or not, but I'm thinking a lot about how mama is going to be, and it got me thinking it would be interesting to see everybodies different thoughts and stuff.
So the point is, if you were the directer what would your concept for mama be, if you could make the video how would it go, make sense?
So if you have any interesting ideas, you can share your creativity here and see what people think of it
Well here is my idea, I'm not good at explaining so i will just tell the idea. Gerard keeps saying, that mama is their most theatrical song and so i thought that is would be cool if the music vid takes place in a theater, and they are acting out the song on stage. You know, they act out the what the song is saying. |

large castle, theatre inside.
burlesque/can-can dancers with gentlemen
a staircase that spirals down on each side of stage
band dressed in a cross between 1800's gentlemen/black parade
fire-breathers
disturbing clowns
scene flickering (normal to chaos, mortal to zombies)
Liza Minelli (we neeed her)
fires that eventually engulf the castle |

Cool idea, and yes we do need Liza Minnelli, it would blow my mind if she is in it. |

I think most of us have that kind of fire, costumes, scene flickering, disturbing, dark thing in our heads - the music inspires it! Ooooh yeah definitely need Liza with the make up and the theatrical feel I CANT WAIT!!!!!!! |

a bunch of tiny little fluffy pink teddy bears playing a song
in a field FULL of pink and yellow and white flowers
and everywhere around them adorable little marshmellow animals are dancing
and everyone's happy.
yeah?
Holy Shit, I agree completely!
Anyway, mine is like this:
The starting is Gee wearing the black parade costume but with pink fluffy boa-like leg warmers on the pants he's on stage acting gerard and diva-ish and he falls down the stage and hurts his knee and starts bawling like a baby calling for his mama and stuff and I've only gotten that far... And then They're in a big huge bath tub 'bathing in fire'... |

My version would be a clay-mation video (like Nightmare before Christmas) but with the band members in TBP uniforms singing in a hellish underworld cabaret club filled with dead soldiers. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 574 | November 3rd, 2007 at 01:17am these are all sooo cool!
here is mine: a woman and a guy (maybe gerard) are writing in like, an 1800's kind of place, and are telling about what's going on at like the boy at war (in europe) and what's going on with the woman, cause her husband was being horrible and she felt like she was in hell. |
idk. my bff jill? Demolition Lover
Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 18372 | November 3rd, 2007 at 05:52am Hmm.
Like, have it open from the center of the screen like flickering and show the band standing at their places and like,in a solid black room with their heads down and when the song starts, have like, demons come walking in saying "mama,we all go to hell" and then have MCR come in and begin playing and have like some sort of mother figure to be standing in front of Gerard and o act like he's singing to her and then have her like, break down crying in the relazation that her son says they're going to hell.
er yeah. |
