So, basically, it tests your vocabulary skills. So it'll show you a word and ask for a synonym. If you answer it correctly, the United Nations World Food Program donates ten grains of rice.
The bowl keeps on adding grains of rice for every right answer until there are a hundred grains - then the bowl empties and you can keep on playing.
...
I mean, I know some of you will be taking the SATs or ACTs soon...why not study for the vocab here? Plus, it's for a really good cause...The site open on Oct 7 and on Nov 7, they had already raised enough points to donate 1 billion grains of rice - which could feed 50,000 people for a day. |
