I don't know if this needs it's own topic, but I found this on Barnes&Nobles
website. It doesn't give any details, but the relase date is set for 12/11/07.

It says it's a "live and rare" performance cd.
Anyone heard of this before or anything about it?

I don't think it is...it seems to be a fairly reputable release because so many bands have Live & Rare's out. I'm going to be picking one up just to get the songs on it that I don't have and get it in my collection obviously.
It's being released over Japan's WB (WEA Japan, Japan Warner Bros. is a parent company) so it must be at least vaguely official.

That's what I was thinking. Why would WEA release it, and it not be something 'official'.
I know there are those books and whatnot that aren't, but I'm thinking this is more like the band might know about it.

I think I'll try and get one too. :]

Wikipedia article on Live and Rare.
I know Wikipedia isn't always a reliable source, but this has the track listings. It looks like it's just a collection of all the b-sides and live songs.

I would so want that, I didn't get the singles, so a chance to get all the extra tracks would be good. However it's in Japan and i'm not. *thoughtful face* Hehe.

I've been trying to find these live songs all over and can't seem to find them anywhere.

The live tracks from TBP are pointless because MCR are going to be bringing the last date from thier Black Parade Tour onto DVD
