'Cause that song really calms me down and prevents me from throwing everything I see when I'm either angry or sad. I tend to get violent once upset, not proud of it, but it's true.
Yeah, I'm Not Okay is a song that can really make you feel better when you're feeling particularly down and depressed. That time, I was feeling depressed all day for no reason, then after I sang this song at the top of my lungs in the shower, I started feeling better immediately. It helps you vent all your pent up emotions
Another song that helps is Sleep. It's so empowering and epic and haunting. |

So. Pretty much all the songs on The Black Parade always cheer me up. When I listen to WTTBP and Famous Last Words I feel kind of proud of who I am.
I'm Not Okay is amazing. I think it's the one that got me into MCR. The newer version of the vid makes me cry. yes I'm that pathetic.
Skylines and Turnstiles is one of the songs that make me feel like I'm not alone.
It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish kicks ass and it calms me down when I'm angry, just like many other songs too.
BTW, never mind my not-so-glamorous English, I'm young and from Finland.

If I need a pick-me-up its FLW, thank you for the venom, I'm Not Okay (which is, btw, slightly cliche but still, it IS an amazingly good and helpful song).
When I'm just crazy angry, it's Honey...., Fashion statement, and INTYWIDFAL, |

So I run to my room, slam the door, and muffle my crying with 3Cheers blasting away. Usually Cemetery Drive helps me calm down, don't ask me why, but I guess it's the beat, not specifically the lyrics. |

Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 863 | January 2nd, 2008 at 10:58pm Cemetery Drive. It is so soothing, and the lyrics really connect to me. (Ha, overused, but true.) Sometimes it makes me want to cry, but in a good way.
Headfirst for Halos, and Famous Last words cheer me up too. Basically all songs do, but those are the ones that help most of the time. |

They calm me down in every emotion. It kept me from freaking out today after the bomb threat at my high school. I was almost in tears, my anxiety was insane when I heard. When I fight with my family, if I listen to one of those songs, the tears seem to go away a bit. |
