One and a half year ago, I hit rock bottom.
I was sitting in my room. Not crying, not cutting.
Just feeling empty.
Then this song started play on the radio, and somehow it caught my attention.
In the chorus, i started to cry. Which really surprised me, because I though I never would b amby to feel anything again. But I cried because of three simple words. I'm not okay.

So just those three words mean a lot to me, because it made me realize, that I was not alone.

FLW taught me to not be afraid of life.

The "Oh how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying" part in Our lady of sorrows reminds me a lot of my depression. Because even though I looked like nothing could harm me, I died a little more inside for each day passing by. It means a lot to me, because it makes me realize how much difference mcr have made to my life.

Famous Last Words has a lot of strong words and it helped me.

Welcome To The Black parade encouraged me also, made me feel that I'm not alone and unafraid of life or death.

[font=5] I'm Not Okay is amazing. I think it's the one that got me into MCR. The newer version of the vid makes me cry. yes I'm that pathetic.

Bloody same here. I watch that vid & feel like sobbing inside. there's such a wrongness...i cant explain.

In fact i'd say INO is my ultimate classic song to listen to when i need a cathartic release, just sream it out and feel better.

And Teenagers! for rebellion, for speaking out, for the things the Powers That Be think they can get away with.

When i'm very stressed or upset Famous Last Words makes me feel better, especially when I can scream along to it. Playing that song as loud as it could possibly go, just blows out all my bad thoughts.
I Don't Love You gives me strength when I start to miss my old relationship, it reminds me why I left.
Demolition Lovers, Desert Song and Disenchanted(All the D's, Hehe) Have the amazing effect of being able to calm me down immediately, it's like they just reset my breathing and calm my racing heart. The tranquility is needed sometimes. Smile

"Well I'm a total wreck and almost every day
Like the firing squad or the mess you made
Well don't I look pretty walking down the street

I heard Cancer maybe a year after someone I loved died of it...I started crying but I couldn't stop listening to it, so I just had it on repeat for over an hour till finally I was okay...It was just my way of dealing with it. I can't listen to that song again though...I've tried, but it just....I don't know. It's hard to explain.

Famous Last Words. The Sharpest Lives.

They calm me down in every emotion. It kept me from freaking out today after the bomb threat at my high school. I was almost in tears, my anxiety was insane when I heard. When I fight with my family, if I listen to one of those songs, the tears seem to go away a bit.

Hi, i just read this & i'm so sorry to hear that. the trauma must be just mind-blowing. HUGS
i really don't know what else to say, but i wish i could be there to actually lend a shoulder........it sucks, school shouldn't hv to be that way, and i hope this doesn't scar you for life. don't let it. it's OK to be fearful & let it out, but don't let that fear keep you frm walking out the door& living life.

HUGS AGAIN

It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Deathwish

A certain part of that song took over me:

This hole you put me in
wasn't deep enough
and I'm climbing out right now
you're running out of places to hide from me
when you go
just know that I will remember you
if living was the hardest part
we'll then one day be together
and in the end we'll fall apart
just like the leaves change in colors
and then I will be with you
I will be there one last time now

when you go
just know that I will remember you
I lost my fear of falling
I will be with you
I will be with you.

It's weird. But, in my own special way,
I connect with My Chemical Romance during that part.
It's kind of stupid.
But with them 5 guys I totally changed.
And this song makes us connect…
I'm sure I could say it like that.
My own unique part of the song;
Forever.

All of MCR's songs help me, but a few stand out to me:
WTTBP helped me alot, when I was depressed over being bullied by the 'popular' kids in my school. It was also the first one I heard of theirs.
Early Sunsets Over Monroeville is a gorgeous song, it has so much emotion in it, and helps me get stuff out of my system.
It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Deathwish helps if I'm upset about relationships with people and stuff isn't working out for me.
Famous Last Words helps me sleep if I've been crying after a fight with someone. I can remember putting it on repeat, falling asleep, and then when I woke up, I felt so much better.

Sleep,and the entire Revenge album.

They just,I dunno how to describe it.
Sleep brings back some amazing memories, and Revenge makes me feel like I'm in control. Like I have power. Like I'm raw and alive.
