This is one of the most amazing interviews with Gerard Way that I've ever watched. It doesn't ask the same old questions that the band members normally get asked. Gerard really gets into talking about himself. It takes a minute to get into the really good questions, but it's definitely an amazing interview.

Gerard really explains his behavior on the Projekt Revolution tour. You know, the stuff that everyone has been freaking out about and saying that he's "changed". And believe me, before this interview, I thought the same thing. I was really starting to doubt Gerard and what he was doing nowadays. But this interview made me remember why I respected him so much to begin with and why he's such an amazing person. After watching this, I don't think he's changed at all. I just think he's grown up and matured in a really good way.

Interview Part 1

Interview Part 2

So do you still think he's changed or not?

I always heard people telling me Gerard had changed and how they lost respect for him. I always had my faith in him. But I too was begining to wonder "has he changed?" so I did my research of interviews and I came across these and a few others and I found myself saying "this is still the same man, just matured and grown up". He's stil lthe same Gerard we all fell inlove with. Nobody forget that. Thank you for posting this <3

I never thought any different of Gee or anyone in the band and seeing things like this interview just makes me believe in him even more. Of course he has changed. I remember him saying that he would never get married....

everyone changes but his still Gerard Way and at the concert I went to in Brisbane he told us that he still wasn't cool and he saw that at BDO in Brisbane. his the same guy as he was, I just hope he doesn't think the fans have given up on him.

Yeah, I noticed at the Melbourne concert that he and Mikey look really similar in the same light and almost same clothing... [/spam]

That was one of the best recent interviews I've seen him do. I must say I was a bit moved. I seriously could relate to a lot of what he said. It gives me hope for myself and every time he mentions his wife it makes me smile.

I know, I used to be kind of skeptical about his marriage because he said before that he would never get married. I was worried that his marriage would be short-lived. But now, I realize that he is madly in love with her and he seems so happy every time he mentions her. So I'm really happy for him Smile

This is probably my favorite interview...

I'm so happy for him, he's been through a lot and whenever he mentions his marriage I beam.

I also think he's totally right about anti-depressants. I love how he is so honest and open and profound...

That interview made me so happy when i saw it.
I never really doubted him to be honest but it's nice to hear what he has to say instead of just hearing people saying they've lost respect for him.
He's such a sweetie and you can tell that he's completelly in love with lyn-z.

definately one of my favourite interviews :]

Wow that interview is definitely something. the best bit is when he talks about not being cool. That means a lot to me.

That is a man far removed from his former problems. And it's beautiful to see. Marriage really agrees with him. Smile

I've questioned him a few times this past year, but always operated by my own philosophy that I shouldn't worry too much because his life is nothing to do with me. I just want to be able to look at him and smile and I can. I'm proud of him, I really am. He's never let me down. And this interview reminds me why I can still have faith. Forever and for always.

Wonderful interview. He has grown so thin; he hasn't got a baby face anymore (which is fine, but was very surprising). As for him "changing," I don't know him. I only read about him and see two-minute interviews from random time periods. How could I judge if he has changed or not? He seems more mature now. I understood what he said about antidepressants (and I actually agree) but I think it was dangerous for him to say that you shouldn't take them--some idiot on Prozac might take him literally and discontinue their meds, and then lose control. That's my only beef with the interview. Thanks very much for posting it.

I agree. You can't really tell whether or not he's actually changed just from watching him on stage and in interviews. I just think he's grown up, which is a good thing. But I don't think he's chaging his morals or message or anything like that. He's still pretty much the same old Gee that we love

That was really adorable. I do agree it is a little complicated to bad mouth anti depressants. It is a good point he makes about them, but I think that they react to everyone differently. I have alot of mixed thoughts about medication, Meh. Thanks so much for that link, it's a great video. And I did think it was adorable that he was talking about meeting the person you know you wanna marry. I'm so jealous, I wish I could find that level of happiness! Lol, but he has been through an immense lot of sh*te so I think that if anyone deserves real happiness he does. Smile
