it has ballet shoes on. the design was quite hard. The ribbon goes from the shoes like a real pair from the front and wraps around the back.
I haven't got a picture because my teacher has it on display in her room

it's blue. It was quite ok to do. The drawstring part was tricky.
I'm taking Textiles for GCSE, so hopefully I'll have more picture for you of my coursework and stuff.
I've made a cushion, but thats not clothing

Posts: 20401 | March 30th, 2008 at 05:20pm oh I just remembered! I made pj pants last year. They were supossed to be pants, but I cut them wrong, and they are now capris. lol and they are too big. It was my first time making pants, so it didn't work to well.
I also made a t-shirt. I didn't sew it, but I put jewels on it to spell out My Chemical Romance. It's not really worth taking a picture of. |

But my sewing machine is stored away so I've been too lazy to get it out and set it up. I'll get a picture of the shirt when I sew the design on it xD

this is how i sew my pants:
i sew along the black line, and then i cut off the excess material, which the gray part represents. [and you don't usually have to sew that high, that depends on how the pants are, like if they're only loose up to the knee, only sew up to there, etc.] |

And yeah, I think I only have to start a little above the knee. The pants I have were just made by some vicious sewing machine and very very flared. |

and when i sew, i usually always start at the end/ankle part.
and work my way up. like i would start from the bottom, then end at the knee.
but i don't think it really matters which way you sew it. |
