Aww, I want to go to Adelaide now. Actually I'm quite happy to go anywhere right now. I've pretty much never left the east coast of Australia. I've been all over Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
Edit: I've been to Tasmania as well, I forgot xD

Speaking of Channel [V] they played BFMV the other day while I was at my friend's house Very Happy

^^omg, my friend texted me about it. and I was like "AS IF"
then I checked their myspace:
D:
"Matches’ bassist, Justin San Souci, leaving band

It disarranges us to relay that our long-time bassist and friend, Justin San Souci, will be parting from the role of bassist in the Matches to pursue other lives and loves. He, however, will not be parting from the role of friend. Change is not an easy thing, but it does not stop until life does. Our hearts go out to Justin for being brave and true to his heart's pursuit.

** the Matches (Shawn Harris, Matt Whalen, Jon Devoto)"

Whaaaaaaaaat? No!

That's like the worst possible news I could've got since coming back from holidays. =[

Well, not THE worst. If it had have been Shawn or Jon I would have been crying. But still. Loves him. That's really sad.

I know, same =(

How was your holiday though?
Our beach adventure was pretty good, on the last night we made pizzas and they were awesome =D

In other news, my internet isn't working. As in, the internet on my computer. Everyone else's in the house is FINE, but not mine D: So now I'm copying everything on my C: drive to my M: drive, and then I get that put into the old computer in the hope that it'll fix it. Stupid motherboard. DDDD:

Glad to hear yours was good. =] I hope your net starts behaving soon, too. Technology can be so annoying lol.

Ours was pretty good as well. Spent most of it in Rosebud, doing everything from sight seeing to random things like bowling, or mini golf, or going to the drive in. I'd never been to a drive in before, so that was a new experience. But some of the scenery and the wildlife was just amazing. And beaches are so much better in winter - no crowding from tourists!

We came back to Melb half way through, though, cause we had to SWN gig to go to. That was uber awesome. I ended up pinching the setlist and two guitar pics, one each for me and Cameron. I gave him the setlist, but in the end he insisted I keep it.

But one mini-rant before I shoosh. Before SWN came on this photographer came up to me and Cam and asked for a photo. We said no at first but eventually gave in. She gave us her business card so the following week we went to go have a look at them. HATE it. She used one of those lens' that give that curvy effect to photos (see how technical I am?). My question is, WHY in Jeebus' name when you are photographing people would you use a lens that distorts peoples features?! Thanks for making us all look like freaks. Disgust

I came back from Brisbane on friday...a bit disappointed at the city, sorry Brisbanites! but why do people call it Brisvegas I have no clue. The best touristy place was probably Lone Pine Koala Santuary where we saw a rooster chasing a sheep around LOLLL! and lots of really cute koalas. We saw the Picasso exhibition & ran into someone from art school who came up from Sydney as well to see it...& oh yeah, & saw the Australian Ballet in Giselle.

I kept wanting to walk into Off Ya Tree, just to say I've been to the Sydney Melbourne & Brisbane stores aahha, but I couldn't with my parents around.

^^ Rhiannon, where's Rosebud?

omg...my friend met TGP, Goodnight Nurse and Closure in Moscow last night at Blink Club...while me and my friends walked in like a 20km circle around the city without finding a good place to sit in and I kept saying, let's go to Blink Club! except they were all scared it might be a bit goth Neutral

^^^ Oh that's so lame about the photographer. Do you mean a fisheye lens? I have no idea why you'd use one of those for people. Honestly. Actually I quite dislike them in general tbqh. But I'm glad that your holiday was good!! =)

^^ I thought I saw the AAMI lights on last night xD

^ Sounds like you had fun even though you were disappointed in the city though!

And my internet's taken since Thursday to fix, but it's finally working again! Woohoo! I'm doing my washing... and the machine beeped a while ago. Ahaha all my clothes are going to be so creased. And that was just my whites. I need to go and do all my blacks and my jumpers and so on. Sigh. And Bart goes to Sydney tomorrow, and I won't see him til next Tuesday =( Wah.

LMFAO, I just went to get that load out of the machine, and put my next load on, but needed to get the water that was in the laundry trough that I'd saved from the last load back into the washing machine... so went to ask mum, and she's like "Harry and Voldemort are JUST duelling Sarah, I can't come right now!" LOLOLOL.

Amy; Rosebud is one of the suburbs on the bay side of Mornington Peninsula. Though we spent a lot of our time visiting other areas on the Peninsula, my favourite being Cape Schanck. We just stayed in Rosebud cause my bf's family has a holidays house there. Both times we've gone we went in winter, so it would be nice to see it all in summer some time. But we're normally in Phillip Island then.

Sez; I had no idea what a fisheye lens was so I Googled it lol. And yeah, that's exactly what she used. I'm not a fan of them for anything, either. I don't really like any type of effects in photos. I prefer photographs which speak entirely for themselves. And LOL @ your mum. That's hilarious.

^ it'll be pretty uncomplimenting to take people's pics with fisheyes. I wonder what she got paid for those! But- talking of fish eye lens, there's this giant balloon on one of Brisbane's streets with someone's face printed on it, the picture taken with fish eyes. Pretty neat piece of artwork.

Happy Birthday Amy!

I just dropped my sister off at school and she made me stay for assembly because she was making a speech. She didn't talk for that long, which was good. But far out, the principal was talking for like half an hour :/
