I think I have become unhealthily addicted to A7X's ST album in the last week. It's been aaages since I've listened to it, but now I can't stop whoring it, or singing it in my head in class when I should be listening to my lecturers explain equations.
I love music. Seriously. Better than any other addiction ever. |

Amy - I love Dropkick Murphys, especially 'Shipping up to Boston'. Srsly, that's the funniest song ever. Listen to the lyrics. I'm a sailor peg, and I've lost my leg... wtf! But awesome. Makes you want to jig every time you hear it! (And I saw them live last year - fantastic.) I think I had something else to say.
Oh yes, injections. Ow. The best ever was in year... 9 I think, and we got meningacoccal (sp?!) in one arm, and tetanus in the other. Oh fun fun times. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING. Yes, put BOTH arms out of action, that's a FANTASTIC plan.
EDIT - also, last night was hilarious. My bf's Polish, and he was trying to teach me how to say things in Polish (epic fail, if you were wondering. I just don't think my mouth can produce those sounds xD), and we were going through the dictionary (he's fluent, but we were looking for other ways to say things... that were slightly more English-sounding...) Anyway, we were eventually just going through them for the fun of it, playing the dictionary game* and came across some hilarious words... for example, Zenana mission, Zenana cloth, cocainise (to make something into cocaine), walking-fern (also known as walking-leaf), and cock-horse. It was pretty funny. Esp at 2am =P
* Dictionary Game: A fun game invented by us, where you get a dictionary, read out a word, and get the other person to spell it. Especially fun if the person has absolutely no idea what the word means, or how to spell it because it's in a different language. |

-major hugs for Samara-
When I went to Japan, we didn't really do much because it was only for a few days lmfao (it was a couple of stop-overs on the way to & from England)
Haha, I was just going through all these coins in the bottom of one of my drawers the other day, and there were some yen (and pence/pounds, and eires, and vatu lmfao), shows how much I clean things.

I haven't read the lyrics yet, but you know what I was thinking while listening to their sound (sound- cuz i couldn't hear all the words)? gees these guys sounds like jolly drunken pirates singing good ol' piratey songs. They are so funny! mum thought they were pretty interesting too. LOL at your dictionary game
on the other hand, I've been addicted to Aiden once again. Genetic Design for Dying = a good sob + heart melting
Samara, I understand...I get homesick if I have to stay in Hong Kong for more than 14 days & that's where I come from. Nothing compares to home. |

Half my friends got homesick on fucking schoolies, wtf?
Seriously, we were away for a week, and half of them couldn't handle it & went home.
I s'pose the rest of us didn't really help matters by being extremely drunk and hacking on them, but whatever.
Idiots.
I've never really been homesick, but I guess that's because I've never been away from my family for long.

The one I got in year 11 or 12 was horrible (don't remember when, all I remember was being taken out of Ancient History for it lol) D:
It hurt so much whenever I moved my arm afterwards, although I did use that as an excuse to not do work for the rest of the day lol.
My friends were all so unsympathetic though, and kept tapping my arm to see if it hurt.
Which it did D:
Completely random, but I just saw this description of Canberra, which made me giggle:
"that place that isn’t quite Melbourne and isn’t quite Sydney, but has porn and fireworks"
They summed it up pretty well xD
