Such a horrible thing to happen to one of the most talented actors of our time.
It's such a massive loss to everybody; his family, friends, the film industry, and his fans.
It's so surreal to think he's gone. I know a lot of people from our generation really grew up with his films, and I think that's the reason it's hitting home for a lot of people.
He'll live on in his films
RIP Heath.

I remember watching Two Hands in class, and I really fell in love with him. Like, I never fangirled over him or any of that teeny stuff. I just really respected him as an actor, y'know? I loved watching as he progressed to bigger and bigger films. A Knight's Tale and Ned Kelly are amongst my favourite films of all time.
I'll miss him. |

Noone saw it coming. He was never one to make the headlines for anything other than his acting. He was one of the more respectable actors of our time and it's a huge loss for all of us.
A Knight's Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You are two of my fav movies ever. It's gonna be hard to watch them now.

Moviestars have a tendency to seem immortal, as naive as it sounds.
I loved him for his role in Ned Kelly, because that movie is one of my favourite movies - if not my favourite. And his portrayal of such a character was amazing to see.
Heath Ledger always transformed into his character so brilliantly, he really captured everyone's attention.
My heart goes out to his family and closest friends. <3
Secondly - that church that plans to protest needs a good reality check.
That is the most appalling thing people can do to anyone - dead or alive.
The idea is simply disgusting. That's not humane. That's barbaric in the least.
What difference does it make now, now that the movie has been out for ages, and now that he's passed away?
What kind of cowardly stand is that? |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | January 23rd, 2008 at 10:42pm Ugh, that pisses me off. Mainly because the church are such hypocrites. They say according to the bible homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord? Well you know what, so is shaving [Leviticus 19:27], shrimp [Leviticus 11:10], tattoos [Leviticus 19:28], hamburgers [Leviticus 17:10], vegetable gardens [Leviticus 19:19], polyester [Leviticus 19:19], bunnies [Leviticus 11:6] and working or Saturdays [Leviticus 19:30]. What, are we gonna deny every who has them a funeral as well? Quote one, quote them all, kay?
Sorry for that rant. It just makes me so angry how they're so selective in what they preach. How dare they try to interfere with his funeral? |

I lovelovelove Candy.
I had to watch it for uni, and it's amazing.
As for that church, tbh I was actually surprised it even existed.
I thought it was just something Chaser made up to make fun of.
But it's honestly sickening to think that there are people like that in the world.
It's that type of thing that makes me dislike religion, tbh.

It makes me feel incredibly sorry for his family
Could you imagine that? They would be absolutely devastated
How could that possibly be justified as the right thing to do?
I don't care what the bible says, what about plain old human decency? |

It was so sick. This lady fully flipped her lid at them, and went all preachy about how Heath wasn't going to hell, he was already there.
O.O
Anyway, i think the full interview is on tomorrow morning if anyone's interested. |

I hate how they keep showing the body bag. I'd heard heaps of friends say they saw it, but I've been avoiding the TV. Then I saw it like twice in half an hour. Both times I had to turn away from the TV. It's horrible. |

and if his family is going to watch ANY tv over the next month or so, they have to be brutally reminded constantly.
I really don't know why they need to show the body bag. It is a bit over kill. I mean we get that he has died, we don't need it shoved in our faces. |
