Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 315 | February 6th, 2008 at 05:50pm The entire guitar part in Ghost of You. FUCKING AMAZING. You don't realize how great it is until you hear a cover without the vocals. Just, damn. It could be an amazing song by itself.
Solos from
-Thank You for the Venom
-I'm Not Okay
-Prison
-Dead! (but of course. =D And the overlays at the beginning)
-To the End
And the long guitar part in the second half of Demolition Lovers. And just the way the two guitar parts sound together in Monroeville. I love how the guitar and bass come in at the beginning of Vampires. And how the vocals and guitar part switch from the chorus to the outro in Sleep. Desert Song pretty much rocks as far as guitar parts too... Oh and the second half of the guitar part in I Never Told You... is freaking cool too.
And I like the drum theme/intro from Cemetery Drive and the snare in WTTBP.
Not that many notable bass parts though. =/ Well, there's Kill All You Friends.
Haha. Yeah. ^^ A lot. A lot of modern bands don't really use their instruments. They just play a bunch of chords and treat guitar like background noise. And it ticks me off.
But My Chem uses their instruments to full potential. Ray is pretty much my idol. x)
Oh, and of course the piano parts in Cancer and Sleep are great too. What's their pianist's name again? .-. |

AND MY BROTHER PLAYED THE SONG FINALLY!!! and he got it right after hearing the song for the first time!!!! I screamed w/excitement =^.^= |

I forgot the parts in Helena! Dx
Oh, and the horns in Dead! xD That is just so unexpected that it's amazingly cool.
There's some sort of background in Desert Song that sounds like synths or strings or something.
That's pretty awesome. And I love the fast paced guitar in Bury Me In Black. And there's just something about the guitar part in Heaven Help Us and Cemetery Drive. I don't know what that style of guitar is, it seems the same for both songs. And the intro to Venom...(I think it's in Frank's part? But I'm not sure.)
I need to stop. xD But this is the coolest thread ever.
And the strings in Cancer are great. |

It's really interesting to listen the music without Gerard's voice.
I especially love the stripped version of Sharpest.
I like it better than the real version!!
** I have every song stripped, so I anyone wants them, just ask, and I'll upload them =D |
