Well, here we go.

Projekt Interlude is a mostly spoofing MCR 'zine. There's "The Interluders" consisting of:
The Hopeless Hearted (Sharona).
The Drum Major (Sam).
and The Body Snatcher (Squee, me).
It's a fun fanzine, of course. And we want all The Romantics involved. Sam says she'll send it to them. :tehe:
And you know who them are... My Chemical Romance.
We totally might succeed in this and get it to them. So who wants in?

We've got The Frankies lead by none other than SuperIero (Squee) herself. (Yes, I brag)
We've got The Geetards lead by zodiac. (Sam)!
We've got The Mikes lead by Tainted Seance (Courtney)!
We've got The Toros lead by Chester (Emma)!
and we've got The Bobberts lead by Explicit Sins. (Fatma)!

And Sharona is the scorekeeper... (Oh big whoop. -eyeroll-)

And I've totally thought of this while typing.

You pick your team when you join the staff; whenever you submit something a score is added to your team.

Whatever team in the end wins, has to choose a person in their team that has given the most amount of handwork to the 'zine (be it ideas, articles, review, news, photos, etc etc, whatever) will become the Fan of the Month in the 'zine. They'll need a whole thing about how MCR has "saved their lives", how they Keep The Faith, what happened at their last gig, anything that conveys how truly much this band means to you. So, yes, start working!

Sam: She's in charge of the physical stuff. Like getting the mag to the band, art related topics, the KTF column. And she's also head of the Gerard team. You're in her team? Talk to her about stuff for it. She's good for answering questions. Ask her about like physical stuff; Will this get published? When is it getting to the band? Can I get a copy? What's this I hear about a website? Etc, etc. She's also the provider of our 'zine name. Projekt Interlude.
Sharona: She's in charge of some art too. She works with me in the review and adverts. She's also an editor too. She's the scorekeeper, if you want to know who's winning, who's the most giving in reviews/articles/columns/etc/etc, she's the one to ask. Plus, she writes articles for the mag too. We're all writing.
Squee: I'm in charge of reviews. News, reviews, adverts, and thinking up ideas for the mag. I'll probably also be the one giving out the excuses on the website if we're late. I'm also a co-editor. And yeah, wanna thank someone for this? Thank me, I made up the whole she-bang. Okay, I'm gonna shut up.

Projekt Interlude is the DIY forum fanzine created by MCR fans. Every single little piece of this ‘zine you’re reading at the moment was created by us. The fans. And DIY forum? You’ve never heard of that have you?

Well this whole thing is run on a forum. None of us really live close (well maybe a couple states or two) to run it together in some shitty basement with crappy printers and the like. Don’t let that get you down though, this is completely 100% DIY. Sam’s got the whole thing covered.

We’ve got everything you can find in this ‘zine, to the regular stuff like My last MCR concert to How to bring back the Faith in 10 days. Okay, maybe not those exactly but close enough.

This ‘zine was created on a forum on mibba.com. The MCR thread. Where else? As usually we were talking about… MCR, and then I brought up the question “What would be your ideal MCR merch? I’d like a magazine by them.” And then the ideas exploded. It was as if we knew in the back of our heads exactly what the perfect magazine would be to us. In a way, we did.

We’ve got recipes (YES RECIPES – probably vegetarian. Meat is totally overrated), reviews (very very very biased, so sue us), and advertisements (Yes! Gerard Way actually used this brand of Toilet Paper! We’ve got the physical proof!). Anything you can – or we can, think of.

Every issue there’s a special section we feature here in Projekt Interlude. It’s called “Keep The Faith.” It’s where we feature an article about a certain MCR fan in particular who has done things that just show what it takes to be a just supremely awesome fan. Usually the person is chosen by whatever group their in.

Ah, the groups. There’s a staff “war” going on in a way. We’re all friendly with each other, no doubt about that, but there’s a game going on. Like in Hogwarts with the house teams. There are five different teams.

The Frankies.
The Geetards.
The Mikes.
The Toros.
The Bobberts.

Each lead by their own team captain, we gain points whenever a member of our team submits something useful towards the ‘zine. In the end, once it’s about time to update the website or print out the ‘zine, we choose the team that wins. That team then chooses the person who has helped the most between the interval of ‘zine publication and they become the Faither for that month.

They describe how they’ve kept the faith in the band, how they’ve gotten into the band, how they plan to stay loyal to the band. It’s basically a bio on the MCR fan of that month.

There are also the Interluders. Consisting of Sam, Sharona, and myself. We’re the three that originally made up the whole concept of the magazine and what will be included in it. Sam leads the Geetards and Sharona is the scorekeeper. I, well I lead the best team ever, The Frankies. Respect us!

Spoofs litter the magazine on the pages marked “We’re All a Bunch of Animals.” From fancomics to complete slander. Anything you can think of. They real articles are on the “We’ll Carry On” pages and through out the magazine. Each page should be marked with a tag which alerts you what you’ll be reading next.

Remember, Bathroom reading material people!
