Apparantly alot of people have had their myspace or facebook or whatever accounts hacked and completely changed. They guy who was featured in the report said 'Anonymous' put gay pictures on his myspace and when his girlfriend saw them she broke up with him. When the guy retaliated 'Anonymous' posted his address and phone number all over the internet and then told people to go kill him. He actually got alot of death threats and some people even took stalker pictures of him and his family and put them on the internet. |

It's basically a cult pretending to be a religion that was made up in the 1950s by L. Ron Hubbard, a science fiction writer. He also wanted to be a millionaire, and has said several times that the best way to make money is to start a religion. Scientology's very controversial because of all the secrecy, mystery, and illegal activities associated with it. In fact, a few days ago Shawn Lonsdale, a famous critic of Scientology, was found dead. It looks like it was a suicide, but it's been said that he was happy and had every reason to live. He was also in the middle of filming a documentary that was about exposing Scientology as a cult. Journalists, courts and the governing bodies of several countries have stated that the Church of Scientology is a cult and an unscrupulous commercial enterprise that harasses its critics and abuses the trust of its members. So shot me if i called it a cult because that is what it is to me and millions of other people NOT a religion. It takes people away from their families and uses them. The group Anonymous (also know as Anon) have been protesting to get rid of Scientology. Their are many videos and news reports on this matter on youtube. The other funny thing is about this cult is that one of their follows Tom Cruise is suppose to be level 7; this means he can move things with his mind, level 8 means you can kill people with your mind. hmmm??? |

I can go to my local library and pick up the main book of any of the abrahamic religions, my hindu friends are allowed to tell me about their religion, scientologists are not. It stinks of exploitation. You'll notice, most other religions openly preach. They want more members because they believe that they are leading people to salvation. With scientology, salvation equates to giving money and there are different levels based on how much you pay. |

Code i dont discriminate against ant type of religion because when you do that it makes you as bad as the people who disciminate against race. as for Anonymous and those other people who want to work with them they sound like a cult too!!! if you have to pay to worship a type of god than it is kinda obviouse that there may be someone corrupt behind the orginization. and i dont really know much about scientology except for what i have read about on this thread so i could be wrong but it seems that people dont benefit from this religion and come on the whole people can move stuff with their minds when they reach a certain level seems kind of like SCIENCE FICTION!!! geez well that is all i have to say about that bye |

Even looking at Scientology on the surface it's obvious that it's a corrupt, manipulative brainwashing cult. They actually seek vengeance on anyone who publicly disagrees with them by launching personal attacks on their lives. For example, I was watching a documentary on Scientologists where there was an interview with an opponent of the cult who said that Scientologists used the fact that he was homosexual, broadcasted this scathingly to the public and turned the entire neighborhood against him, just because he was gay. They spent their time hounding him, spying on him and making sure that they turned his life upside down. They have done similar things to journalists, harassing them, and digging into their personal lives to expose any "dirty secrets" they can use to their advantage. It's wrong and plain nasty. That's why I can understand why opposition societies such as "We Are Anonymous" have arisen. |

No matter how much u are into ur religion -- Scientology included -- i personally believe its good to maintain a degree of curiosity & questioning, as opposed to blind following. i wouldnt be surprised if ppl who have scoffed at aliens or the supernatural in their entire lives become total & absolute believers just becoz they got into Scientology. thats a little disturbing. so....i'm neither black or white on this. at the end of the day, ppl are gonna worship what they want to (or THINk they want to) worship. |
