I'm pretty sure it's only the 17th.*edit* Ticketmaster has the 18th as an additional date, but the link says that no page exist.
You can sneak cameras in, but the people will take them. I know when I went to the Aragon they were not only taking cameras, but also cellphone batteries. |

Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | February 23rd, 2008 at 09:29am I got my tickets on Thursday on a pre-order site. I'm glad I went ahead and got them because it's not looking like they're adding many more dates anytime soon, so none here in Florida in the near future, and I'd have been kicking my own ass Fight Club-style if I missed seeing them again before their break.
That sucks about the cameras. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 169 | February 23rd, 2008 at 01:56pm I am! I'm from Minnesota Lol. But hey, I've got to be there, right!?
I'm dragging a friend of mine (she isn't as in love as I am, hence the "dragging" but my aunt lives in Milwaukee and she's letting us crash at her place the night before and the night of the concert. I'm so excited!
What is the Congress Theater like? Inside, and parking and all that jazz? |

I think it's 54 days until I see them. My wonderful mom spent half an hour this morning getting the tickets.
This'll be my second time seeing MCR.
Billy Talent and Drive By will be there, too. |

Are you aloud to get there before the doors open? I'm assuming so--right? |

Normally there's a line halfway around the block when doors open.
I know I'm going to try to get there a little before when doors open to get a good spot. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 169 | February 24th, 2008 at 11:21am Yeah, I mean, if I'm coming from Minnesota (not that it's a huge ways away--about 8 hours) I want a good spot. Sweet! My plan shall work! |

Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | February 24th, 2008 at 11:43am Stupid question from the Floridian -- what's the weather like in Chicago in April? Do I need to pack warm clothes, or will the weather be decent? |

This is my first time seeing them NOT at a festival.
I saw them at Warped Tour in '05, but only for about
ten minutes before I got stuck in a mad moshpit.
As for the weather, you might want to bring a hoodie or jacket,
especially since it's the windy city and it's been fairly chilly
recently. Right now, I'll guess it'll be around the 40's or 50's
by the time of the concert, if the weather stays normal for once. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 169 | February 24th, 2008 at 09:41pm Man...I'm so confused about what to wear though. Lol. Hoodie-wise. Just because I know it's going to be wicked hot in there once everything gets going, you know. So, the question is: Wear the hoodie--or don't wear the hoodie. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 20963 | February 24th, 2008 at 10:00pm I don't know much about hoodies. But I think it would get kinda hot. One thing that's definite for me: I'm gonna wear bat-socks. |

Are you kidding It's been so cold and the icestorms keep coming, it could still be frozen over in April ... but I really hope it does turn up to be 50's-ish.
Chicago weather is so unpredictable there's no way to tell until it gets closer to the date. |

Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | February 25th, 2008 at 07:16am ^^ Haha! Thanks for the info, guys. Where I am, it was in the mid-80s yesterday, and I wore a hoodie in the evening once it dropped below 70. And it's what, February still? So yeah, me + cold weather =
The theater does look beautiful, and it said capacity is around 3000? Not bad at all. I'm really looking forward to this. |

Haha! That's very true, I'm probably either going to go hoodie-less, or just wrap it around my waist, too. I really want to make it to the 18th, but I'm a jobless teenager and can't afford it.
Hopefully I can get there early enough to get barricade, my mom is going with me so she's going to feel the wrath of fighting for a spot, haha. She loves Gee. And she thought Ray's name was Herman. |
