They're so abstract; you can view them however you want.
Their lyrics really inspire me, and I greatly admire Trent Reznor; he's got so much talent. After like 20 years he still hasn't gotten boring.
He sings so many songs about being "empty", losing himself, etc.... but he's created so much material he probably has a hell of a lot inside him. More so than the average person. |

Hopefully this won't mean Reznor is retiring from music... I doubt it, as he is in the studio recording with Jane's Addiction, and he had so much planned for Year Zero(follow-up album, television series...).
