Posts: 9 | October 1st, 2009 at 10:00am it's been officially confirmed that soundwave's second announcement will be on october 13th! and apparently something interesting will be released on october 6th 
EDIT: also the used postpone their oz tour.
"The Used regret to inform you that their tour of Australia, scheduled to take place in November this year has been postponed to March 2010. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the band have found themselves in a position of having to stay close to their home base for the latter part of this year.
With the new record recently debuted into the Top 20 on the Australian charts and with the release of a second single imminent, the decision to postpone the tour was a difficult one that the band have not taken lightly.
The venues remain the same and all tickets bought for the November shows are valid for the rescheduled March shows."

Wednesday 18 November NOW Thursday 18 March 2010 – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Friday 20 November NOW Tuesday 16 March 2010 – The Hi-Fi, Melbourne (SOLD OUT!)

the new dates are a bit inconvenient for me, i've got so much on around that time!
eh, i'll get over it. or just not go at all. either one works lol.
the second announcement for Soundwave is slowly being leaked too,
so far there's Placebo, Anthrax, Hatebreed, Throwdown, Closure In Moscow, Enter Shikari, Pennywise, and 311.
actually come to think of it, pretty sure that's the whole announcement, i think that girl said there were 8 bands? maybe i'm imagining things?
idk, but the first 6 on that list have been found as thumbnails on the soundwave site, and Pennywise and 311 were listed on Four Year Strong's myspace as other bands playing.
i will pretty much die of happiness if 311 play, omfgggg.

this was just posted on twitter: "Weezer, Brand New and Pennywise (who seem to have broken up anyway) will not be playing"
i'm not really a big fan of any of the bands rumoured for the second announcement, but i'd really like to see Placebo for some reason. i don't even know much by them lol.
311 would be AWESOME as long as they stuck to older stuff. their last album was pretty average ):
+ Rhiannon, the clashes are going to be HORRIBLE.
but fingers crossed Alexisonfire, Jane's, and AFI don't clash. i would dieeeeee.
anybody going to BDO? that's going to be horrible too (in terms of clashes).
there's only one band on the lineup that i don't want to see xD

out of the whole BDO lineup, there's only 3 bands i haven't seen.
technically 4 because i haven't seen Ladyhawke yet, but i have tickets for her tour, so by BDO there'll only be 3.
dnw Kasabian or Dizzee Rascal clashing with anybody though!

I seriously don't want to think about Soundwave, cause I don't want to imagine the depression when I see all the clashes. I mean, when you're into band like MCR and Paramore, as well as bands like Trivium, HIM and AFI, there's no way they're gonna be on the same stage. |
