Shannon said last night that the (Panic) dates going around at the moment aren't the real ones, and that they will be announced on the 27th

I'm so excited about the P!ATD tour rumours. I can't wait to see them again. Even if it does mean enduring a crowd of rabid teenies again. The new album is fantasmic.

(sorry for the shit quality)

FAIL.
I'll still be going to the Sunday, but man, what a rort.
Half the bands tour every 5 minutes anyway.
And the Saturday just sucks arse.
Pretty sure every Come Together has been better than this one.

^ Was just discussing that. I'd still go if I were in Sydney. Just for TLE and Mammal. There's a lot of bands I love there, actually.

It's not a bad lineup as such (on Sunday anyway), it's just, I've seen all the bands that I want to see (with the exception of MM9) 892387946245 times already.
I don't even like The Hot Lies' newer stuff lol. And Acid Eyeliner have played at The Ori (the local pub here), so that's just lol-worthy.
And any show that is headlined by Faker is terrible by default.

That said, I think it'll still be a good day.
It just doesn't have the big drawcards the previous Come Together festivals have had.
Like yeah, TLE are massive, but idk.

Speaking of TLE, have you heard anything about their tour later in the year Rhiannon?
I was just watching an interview with Grinspoon that said they will be touring with TLE later in the year, and I want to know when 'later' is lol.
Probably be before their trip to Iraq, but omfggggggg I am so excited.
I was almost in tears when I saw the interview.
That tour is going to own. It's my favourite band, and my brothers favourite band, playing together, so at least I know I'll have somebody to go with lol.

lsjkfhkjdafhjhfd. WHOO! So, I didn't hear about the tour. They haven't said anything about it. If they had, I would know. At the Longnecks shows they did say that they'd be back later in the year with a new album and a new tour, but it was kinda like 'duh', we knew that already. They haven't said anything about Grinspoon yet. They've been quiet. Too quiet. >.>

The Living End & Grinspoon. Like whoa. That's so exciting. Geez, so many of my favourite bands touring already this year. And I thought last year was good. This is going to be as good, if not better.

Yeah I hadn't heard anything about it until I stumbled across the interview on news.com.au lol.
It's going to be an excellent tour, Grinspoon & TLE are (I'm pretty sure, anyway) the only bands who have ALWAYS impressed me live.
And I'm not just saying that because Grinspoon are my favourite band lol, I have friends who aren't the biggest fans, but still go along to the shows because they're so much fun.

Actually, I just watched it again, I think I may have been a little too excited and heard it wrong.
Phil either says "yeah, we're taking The Living End this year, that'll be a big task, toppling them", or "yeah, we're taking ON The Living End...".
Hmmmmm. I hope I haven't just gotten myself really excited over nothing ):

Actually, I don't think they'd even bother saying anything about TLE if they were going on seperate tours at the same time.
Grinspoon (as a band) have pretty big egos lol, I doubt they'd go around saying that toppling TLE is a big task, they'd be more like "fuck yeah, we'll pwn them"

Haha. I don't know what to think anymore. I'll just wait and see.

But yeah. Grinspoon are amazing. I've only seen them once, but everyone was heaps into it. Even those who weren't massive fans.

I really hope they tour together, that was what I thought straight away when I saw it... I hope I was just reading far too much into what Phil said lol.

Lulz. I've seen Grinspoon 7 times now xD
But yeah, their live shows are so much fun (:

Here's the interview, if anybody else feels like having a look (TLE are mentioned towards the end).
Lmfao. Ohh man I love those guys so much.

I'm not going to go to SOTY, I've got a feeling the parentals won't be too happy when I ask them for money for Come Together like two days after V Fest lol.
And I need to keep in their good books for whenever this Grinspoon & TLE tour eventuates xD
