December 8, Auckland, Vector Arena
December 14, Sydney, Acer Arena
December 19, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
Tickets for the shows go on sale from Monday September 8, but online presales will be offered to Frontier Members on September 4.
So yeah, like, massive tour. No doubt shows will sell out and those gaps will be filled with more shows. |

Age: 21 Gender: Female Posts: 2166 | August 28th, 2008 at 10:20am apparently there is a rumour list of Soundwave 09 bands on wikipedia It doesn't cite references but it still tickles your fancies.
I wouldn't trust the accuracy, but it says September's Blunt mag had announced 20 bands. Amongst them, Saves the Day and Silverstein...would kick ass if they come. |

AJ said on the SW forum that they didn't get Jimmy Eat World.
They offered them a shitload of money, JEW said it wasn't nearly enough.

Apparently it wasn't an amount to be sneezed at either, it was quite reasonable.
+ LOL @ wikipedia being edited already.
Edit; a couple of days ago on there, it had Elvis as one of the acts confirmed for SW09.
I lol'd.
It also got edited out pretty fast xD

Age: 19 Gender: Female Posts: 1274 | August 28th, 2008 at 12:06pm Stupid Rancid. I wish they'd come. Using Brody as a reason not to come is hardly an excuse. And stupid Jimmy Eat World too. Sigh. |
