asha molly.:but imagine the clashes that are going to happen ):
That was my first thought. I liked the Melbourne venue last year, despite the shitload of dirt I breathed it.
I have some friends who saw Metallica in the UK. Apparently they were very good. |

 Age: 21 Gender: Female Posts: 2165 | September 2nd, 2008 at 02:07pm 60 fucking bands!!!????!!!??!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!
when I read it these chills went down my spine and i started shaking. Aahhaha I'm SO excited. And i don't know a single band on the lineup yet.
Where's the venue? I'm glad for the change...not that it was a terrible venue at the park, but the metal stage was at a 40degree slant so tall people in front of you were even taller.
I just know I'm going to have a very unmomentous half a year till SW next year, with no bands I like that are touring.
...oh no i realised something. If I get into uni at Wagga, I'll have to travel 5 hrs to Soundwave. |

 Age: 19 Gender: Female Posts: 1274 | September 2nd, 2008 at 04:14pm So I might actually go to Sydney to see SP.
My friend goes to NIDA and so I wouldn't have to pay for accommodation... and her play finishes that night so afterparty.... and then we could hang out on the Sunday and it would be great!! So I think I will. Also I need to get out of this city.
Edit: is anyone going to the Sydney concert? |

Mum's not too keen for me to go though =( she's fine with the going to Sydney part, but then was like 'we (her and dad) don't think it's a good idea... I don't think you really understand how Sydney is, it's very different from Adelaide, and trying to find your way to a place like that...' and then, my favourite part 'Simple Plan is a weird sort of band, so there'll be lots of weird people hanging around'... oh dear. I don't think she quite understands the term 'teenie' =P Sigh. GAH. I really want to see them =(
Also, apparently Neil Young is confirmed for BDO (though, confirmed by whom, I don't know. I had a quick look at the BDO website, and apparently My Morning Jacket has also been confirmed, but that's according to the forum. So I dunno!) |

Yeah, they are confirmed.
Lees & West are promoting, and the dates fit in with BDO, which is as good as them coming out and saying that he's headlining.
The exact same thing happened last year with RATM lol.

 Age: 20 Gender: Female Posts: 2077 | September 3rd, 2008 at 11:41am I'm a bit sick of the Green Day as headliners rumour. I'd rather they didn't. I'd rather see them in their own concert again. |

If any Melbourne peeps needs times for Disturbed, tada;
6.30pm Doors
7.15pm - 7.30pm BEHIND CRIMSON EYES
7.45pm - 8.20pm ALTERBRIDGE
8.40pm - 9.25pm P.O.D
9.45pm - 11.00pm DISTURBED
I always get times for every concert cause I need to know, so thought I'd post them in case.
I caaaaan't wait. Also, lulz at how BCE said they were playing with Disturbed, P.O.D and Creed. So, like, they're really well informed and stuff.
Got my Pyramid Rock tickets today. I can't believe I just spent that much on a ticket, just quietly. |

Creed = epic fail.
I can't stand them.
Apparently Rihanna & Chris Brown are touring later this year.
I have no idea if anybody is interested, but there you go haha.

 Age: 21 Gender: Female Posts: 2165 | September 6th, 2008 at 04:57am How does Katy Perry fit in with Warped?! woe, the world is losing its mind completely! LOL...
since Hawthorne Heights has just announced their Never Sleep Again Tour (for the US of course)...I hope they'll be finished by the time SW comes around so there's some possibility.
Ahaha Sez, come over to Sydney and sydneysiders will devour your innocence! tell your parents don't worry, there's nothing wrong with us! well, just as long you don't book a hotel in KingsX or someplace like that. |

Seriously melt your face off good. Just love.
It was probably the roughest pit I've ever been in/seen, too. 3 fights broke out that I saw/got bowled over by, there were probably more. It was crazee.
P.S. Speaking of Katy Perry, anyone heard Cobra's I Kissed A Boy? It gets the lulz. |

 Age: 21 Gender: Female Posts: 2165 | September 8th, 2008 at 12:39pm ^ yer. I heard it sung so clearly on radio it could not have been mistaken for anything else. I'm petrified! doesn't it go something like, "I want to kiss a girl, I want to kiss a boy"? gees, like, can't you just make up your mind?
