So I know there are at least a few hockey fans here, and since playoffs are coming soon-ish I figured we could use a thread instead of continuing to pseudo-spam the Confessions, hah.
So the Hawks are playing the Blues right now.
The Hawks have no chance of making it to the playoffs, basically. It's not like I'm surprised. I'm getting used to it.

they beat the caps 5-0 but they can't win any of the games that they have to.
it's irritating, but i guess it's always been like that. |

yeah, i know more about the Finnish hockey league.
but i support and respect the Finns in NHL till the damn end.

I know there are a few minor differences, but I'm not sure exactly what the differences are. And the rink is slightly bigger in Europe, if I remember correctly. |

so what are your picks?
mine:
detroit vs. nashville- i'd love to say nashville but realistically they don't stand much of a chance.
pens vs. sens- penguins dude.
flyers vs. caps- capitols.
rangers vs. devils- devils.
avs vs. wild- this is probably the toughest series, in my eyes. i'm rooting for avs.
boston vs. montreal- boston. no one likes the canadiens.
dallas vs. anaheim- i hate dallas, so therefore anaheim.
sharks vs. flames- i'm thinkin sharks.
i'm probably missing someone but whatever.
ultimately, i'd love for the finals to be penguins vs. avalanche.
penguins because for years they were the only team below the hawks, and they've managed to pick it up. they deserve something.
avalanche because i don't care on the west. none of my teams got in. this is my cute lacrosse coach's team and i think it'd be entertaining if they came close.
pens for the cup, dude.
