If we can have a competition for digital art, why can't we have one for traditional, pen[cil]/paintbrush-to-paper art?
Mods/Admins, feel free to lock if it's a duplicate or anything.
So, I was thinking, this could roll the same way as the icon/banner competitions, rules-wise.
Message your entries/votes to me, no telling anyone what you drew/painted, no urging people to vote for a certain one, no telling people your votes, etc.
The first competition is to draw something macabre-esque, but also has to do with music[if that makes sense].
Examples:
1. 2. [but add like, musical notes, or headphones, or something.]
Feel free to use an idea of your own, but you can draw these.
Ends Sunday, April 13th. |

I don't have a scanner of my own, but I could try to have a friend scan it every day the entries are due. :]
As for the first competition, I have no idea.
Eh, I'm bad with coming up with concepts.
Maybe something music inspired? |

I think what you need to decide though is how much freedom people are gonna get. Whether you get just a simple prompt and you can develop anything you like from it or whether your going to get something specific to work with, and to use as a reference. |

There's no specific picture you have to do, but you can do one of the examples.
And yeah, if it's music-y and macabre-y then you're fine. ^^ |

That's what I thought at first.
But, cameras work too, and local libraries usually have a printer/scanner somewhere, or a friend might have one. |

But I don't think the school scanner is working, so I will probably have to resort to a crappy photograph.
