Avril Lavigne

I have no idea why I'm doing this to myself. XD No personal attacks kthxbai.

Her first album was pretty terrible, but I love her new album, she's improved a lot with her lyrics, and her voice is better too now. There're a good few really great songs on Under My Skin, my favourite is Nobody's Home. Together isn't half bad either, although He Wasn't is absolutely awful. XD

I ain't gonna stop liking her because she tries too hard or whatever, I like her and I think she's pretty damn cool. Her songs are catchy and a lot of them are feel-good, they make me happy to listen to. Anyone else like her? Or maybe I should ask, anyone else NOT want to cut her into a million pieces?

By the way if this turns into a repeat of the Hilary thread, Imma request it be locked. I just wanna see what people on here think of her.

^ i agree. I like Nobody's Home too. Don't really listen to her anymore though.

First Album: Zomgz burn it. It's absolutely terrible.

Second album: Definitly an improvement. I mean she did go from songs like 'Sk8er boi' to Pieces. The lyrics are more enjoyable to listen to. She stopped ryhming boi with boy. The only song on the album I actually like is 'Pieces' I think it's called. Her songs are so catchy. >.<

I mean, the only reason I do listen to her is because of my sister. She always has the damn things on. XD
Avril Lavigne really isn't that bad. People just say they hate her to be cool. I mean if you really hate her it's okay but, there are alot of people who don't even give her a chance and judge her by 'Complicated' and not the new album.

I don't really like her, but I'm saying positive comments about her.

That's not what I meant lol, I meant I just don't want people saying how she should die and plotting how they're going to kill her and ugly stuff like that. 'Cause the Hilary thread was just unpleasant...

I'm open to opinions, and bloody hell, almost all the people I know don't like her music at all. =P

Her first album was kinda more poppy music but was more upbeat that her latest stuff. I prefer her latest stuff really cos its easy to sing to! *sings*

As long as she keeps under my radar I don't HATE her though.

But as far as pop goes, I think she is not the worst out there.

I actually like her first album more than her second.....it's more feel-good, though some songs on it were annoying >.<

I'm not really a fan, but I do catch myself singing along to her songs off her new album. I use to always beg my sister to change it when one of her songs off her first album came on.

I'm beginning to find myself expand my music taste than just Rock and all it's sub-culturals.
