Got this bulletin from Asbury Lanes (super cool dive where I live in Asbury Park, NJ) on MySpace the other day. Don't know if it's made headlines on here yet, as I've been taking some time off.... I got my tickets. Anyone else going?

Posts: 688 | I was thinking one of the Way brothers, I seem to recall them listing The Cure as one of their major influences aside from the Pumpkins and Iron Maiden. In any case, I would probably rule out Bob and Ray. |

Posts: 688 | May 14th, 2008 at 11:07am I saw The Cure live too, they were fantastic. I don't think they'll butcher it, they have a pretty talented group of band members to work with. Anyone got a clue as to if they've played anywhere before? I'm dying to know who's in the line-up.
Also, the concert is being set up as the "after party" for the Tri City Arts Tour in Asbury Park, Red Bank and Long Branch. My husband will have some of his art up in around Asbury, as well as my friend Chris. If you guys are in the area and get a chance, come on by and check out the galleries. It will be a fantastic weekend for sure and you can support a lot of great artists as well as checking out the Lovecats show. |
