Any coments? Cryptozoology (the study of hidden wildlife) has long been an interest of mine. I personally like to keep my mind open to all posiblites and look at all sides of a situation.

I honestly don't believe there is anything in Loch Ness. The major photo was proven to be a fake. A number of reasons have been created for sightings including logs, swimming dear and sunken boats. Realistically speaking I think the biggest disproving fact is that there is hardly any eco system in that specific loch. There would need to be a number of individual animals living there to sustain a population, but this isn't possible if there isn't enough food. Loch ness is also incredibly dark and cold, which would make any life difficult.

On the other hand, I do believe its possible that there are large animals that are still unkown to science. Lake Champlain is said to be home of Champ, a north american cousin to Nessie. Champ is the best example for a real lake moster for it has given us the most conclusive photo evidence of any such creature. What really got me interested was reading about underwater recordings taken that recipricated the same pattern as orcas make when using echo location.

For years I thought bigfoot was a myth. Yet this past winter I read a rather eye opening book upon the subject of north american apes. First, the famous "Patterson Footage at Bluff Creek" has never been officially discredited nor have the people who shot it ever confesed to it being a hoax. Native Americans as well as long time locals have accepted the existence of such a creature for there are apparently more sightings then are genreally discloused. Of the three cryptids mentioned, I would not be surprised if there is more behined the bigfoot story then just an ape suit

I think there has to be something behind the myths, so I think that at one point, there might've been a large animal that lived in the Himalayas, or lived in Loch Ness, or where ever. Unfortunatly, the are most likely to be dead now.

i agree... people say that they have descoverd these things way before all of us were ever alive... and since there was supposidly only what? 10? then they'd probably all be gone now... but maybe people could still find some proof that these things existed
