''My Chemical Romance have confirmed that they will be covering a Bob Dylan song for an upcoming film adaptation of Alan Moore's graphic novel Watchmen.
The band, who will be following in the footsteps of fellow rockers Guns N' Roses who covered Bob Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door in 1992, will be covering Desolation Row from Dylan's 1965 album, Highway 61 Revisited, for the flick.
"My Chemical Romance [are] absolutely awesome," director Zack Snyder told MTV. "And Gerard is a huge fan of Watchmen."
"He's a super-great guy, and an awesome musician," the director continues. "And so we're trying to work with them right now to put together possibly a song for the end titles. I've talked with him and I've heard a little bit of some stuff that's he's [been doing] and it's pretty freaking cool."
My Chemical Romance will be the only 'modern' band to feature on the film's soundtrack.
Watchmen will hit cinemas next year''
