I've seen a number of acts in concert, and I am just wondering who exactly you have seen? Did they make any references to Australia, or the city/area you were in? Did they talk about any of the following: Tim Tams, kangaroos, Vegemite???
Gwen Stefani: talked about visiting Featherdale Wildlife Park with her son, she mentioned that she was excited to see the koalas.
Justin Timberlake: said that Sydney was better than Melbourne haha :p
Hilary Duff: constantly said 'hellooooo Australia!!!' Pfffft. And she sucked.
The Backstreet Boys: surprisingly good. Howie wore an 'Australia' sweatshirt which I thought was cool. Nick mentioned that he went for a walk on Pitt St. At the end, a fan threw stuffed kangaroo toys on stage.
Christina Aguilera: she sucked. Came on stage late, sang re-mixes instead of the originals of her classic songs. Said 'hello Sydney' a few times.
Pink: was awesome. She said that she loved Australia. She played seven Sydney shows.
I know there are other acts I'm forgetting right now. I'm curious though: any stories from concerts you've seen in Australia. Tell me please. |
