I've been using photoshop now for over two years drawing and I never took a single class. |

There's alot of features on Photoshop that I don't know the full extent of though.
I tried alot of tutorials and things to learn about the different features, but i just found that the best way to learn is to get in there yourself and experiment on hundreds of different pictures and settings etc. |

one is that since I have a registered copy of PS, I have a help. I'm not sure if everyone does, I know that the tryout editions don't. and so I just wanted to ask, if you have a pirated copy, do you have the help section? (very very very handy)
Oh, you good person, you.
The help section appears to be there, but when you actually go to use it, you get some error message.
My copy of PS also doesn't open PNGs...
Haha, whatever. You get what you pay for, I guess. Haha, so after photoshop "failed catastrophically", I had to re-install and now it works. PNGs too.

Age: 38 Gender: Male Posts: 31690 | August 13th, 2008 at 06:21pm I think it's converting it to web colors.
however, when I take a screencap and use that, it uploads fine and doesn't have that kind of color screwup.
I don't know why it does that, since it apparently isn't necessary, and I have no idea how to fix it. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 25006 | August 22nd, 2008 at 12:51pm So I'm using PS 6 on my desktop because this computer's too slow to run CS3, and it won't let me do "save for web" (the same thing as "save for web and devices" in newer versions). Anyone know what's wrong? |

Does anyone know why this happens? if you're still having the problem, screencap the entire photoshop so we can see your settings and stuff?
but then again, I can't see your image, so you might have done and I wouldn't know. |
