A Face You'll Remember

It all started out so simple,
Then a bold tide swept away.
Stances tall, patience thin,
Now, I’ve brought back my pay.

Though my art’s been on delay,
I paint another way for them to play.
These happy blades I’m writing through.
I’m sending a message to you.

You’re mine this time.
On the clock, I’ll take you in.
The jewels you bleed are your medicine.
Off the escaping, crawling street.
Another spill, another sheet.

My memory I can’t forget,
But if I did, you know you’d love it.
Gripping vine, blinding kiss,
You’ll take the grind and spread the bliss.

Slicing shit, blowing smoke,
This charcoal-covered, ashy cloak.
Darling, never leave my side.
We’ve been baptized in a bloody ride.

INO Song Writing Competition #6
This week I want you to write a tribute to a band member of MCR or your favorite band. I know we kinda have done stuff like this before but i can't really think of themes that you could do easily. If you have any suggestions please PM them to me and I might use them.
Deadline
Well considering I start school this Monday I'm going to make the deadline the 15th of June. I hope that is enough time if it isn't please send me a notice about it and I'll give you an extra day or so.

Ok sorry for the wrong month up there it was really early / late depending on how you look at it and I was just writing it so I would be done with it and I wasn't paying attention. Anyiero it really is the fifteenth of August not June and i was about to put July wow I'm off. And I explained the description of the theme alittle to so it's alittle bit more clear.

Well this week I want you to try your hand at writing one.It can be as long or short as you want to and having any meaning you want it to have as long as it's a love type song. Have fun!
