Don Juan Triumphant Salute You in Your Grave Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 2822	February 16th, 2009 at 09:51pm this may sound like a stupid question but i got a set of reeves oil paints for for christmas last year and its a beginners set but the instructions suck ass and i need help so... with oil paints, what do i need to buy or to use to thin out the paints? they are waywayway too thick to paint with and id appreciate some help. thanks, lynae =]

The Rumor Awake and Unafraid Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 11966	February 19th, 2009 at 04:16pm Uh, I don't really know because my Mom won't let me use oil paint in the house (I'm accident prone and it takes ages to dry). Try going to your local art store and talking to someone there. I find that when I'm stuck on materials, a chat with my local always seems to help. x]
Xavey Stars Motor Baby Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 952	February 19th, 2009 at 05:40pm For my studio mid-term I had to do a landscape painting, and I used another painting as a reference I put my own mix to it though so I was only copying it to an extent. (I totally redid the whole sky) By the way it looks a million times better in real life. Comments?

My scanner is the scanner from hell, and the red lining her dress is supposed to be a lot darker than the way it came out. : DD
