well im not sure i was simply making the suggestion to make it bolder, because the color almost matches the background, you can make it a different color that's still found else where in the piece. Anyways its not mine so in the end its totally up to you |

The idea is to alter famous master pieces in away so it reflects upon the holiday season. This is from this past year. The way it worked out, most of the art freaks graduated so I wound up doing this 95% on my own. I was quite please how it turned out.

In the cafeteria at my school the walls have different sections, and in each one there's a famous painting but there's a detail changed to match our school. Like for the Girl With The Pearl Earring, instead of a pearl it's a lightning bolt for the Golden Flashes. |

It looks great, especially how you use color. It makes the piece even more interesting.
I'm not very good at improvising color in shadows and stuff like that, so I'm totally impressed =)
I haven't had the time to do much lately, but I did alter and complete my painting from a while ago..right here |
