Another MCR related death?

I was thinking the exact same thing, that if that newspaper write something against emo, then people are gonna think it's a negative thing, and people who choose to be a part of that subculture are gonna be targeted and laughed at, for doing something which the media says is stupid and the media portray in a negative light. And some people are just so unhappy with their own lives, that they see 'emo' people as an easy target and think that they can bully them, because the newspaper said that emo is bad, so it must be.  It's just like those school shootings. The media blows it up, tells of every detail that happens, and then all of a sudden there are copy cat shootings. In this case, the media blow up the whole 'emo' thing, make it seem bad, then other people bully others for being a part of it, and there are more deaths, because the media have brought it out.But obviously the media aren't completely to blame for this death. Those bullies sound like arseholes. I don't have a bebo account, but aren't there ways to make your profile private and block people from seeing your stuff, like Myspace? |

I found it interesting, because he said that the Daily Mail has a target audience, which sadly, don't include 'emos' He said that he felt the paper was there for more upper-class type people, therefore say what they want to hear.
