That will be sweet if they did a TUA movie! I'd love to do anything to help. Even be the voice of Dr. Pogo! |

I have a feeling it will be real people. Why make it a cartoon? But then again. Real People makes it a bit corny/cheesey. =/

I think the best mediums are always the CG animals. Real animals and cartoons could backfire and be an epic fail as they have in many movies. CG these days looks amazing. |

I feel that cartoons can easily go unnoticed, unless they are advertised like crazy. Films with people in them are usually more well known, unless they are completely pathetic "made-for-TV-movies". *god forbid*
I like to watch real people in "Super hero" movies... Although I prefer them to be realistic so they don't go into the corny, teeth gritting territory. I like my realism. Like The Dark Knight. |

Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1831 | December 17th, 2008 at 07:21am But there's a big difference between a cartoon and an animated feature. "Cartoons" are mostly for kids, and I don't know about the UK but they are advertised and merched and cross-merched into the ground here because the kids want to see the movie and then collect all the toys. Big $$ to be had.
TUA would be an animated feature for adults. It should be advertised so that nobody looks at it and says, "Oh hey! A Pixar movie! Harriet, pack up the kids, we're going to the movies!" But that's also why they go for celebrity voices -- all the major animated films, kids or adults, have celeb voices so they can advertise the celeb as being connected to the film. |

Yeah, it's a long time, but it's good that they have that amount of time to play around with.
Better a longer wait and a better film than a rushed piece of badly cobbled together trash! |
