Death Call
by The Wicked

Scent.

The stench lingers as I decline
The smell of blood that drowned my lungs;
The addicting aroma that I loathingly loved;
Forever inhaling a thing we call Death.

Choke.

Suffocating from the lack of air
No oxygen to breathe, to waste, to share
By people who inhale the things they destroy;
Of having been strangled by a thing we call Death

Scream.

A Faltering voice caused by your anguish
An infected larynx that no science can cure
Though whispers has spoken louder than shrieks
Still you chose to shout at a thing we call Death.

Hurt.

Vindicating but never relaxing
A pain shared both by the living and the dying;
Sinking in to never loving and always hating;
Bittersweet hurt in a thing we call Death.

Cut.

No comfort sought in the words
Of people who bore empty promises to their delight.
A devil smiles in the midst of your suicide of self-pity
As you wave hello to a thing we call Death.

Bleed.

A birthright in existing as human beings;
You're weak and you think to heal is to bleed;
You drain yourself by the pool of your own blood.
Convicing what you need is a thing we call Death.

Smile.

Last chance to think of the best things
Of the life you thought best to be dug six feet under.
Laugh about the memories that flashed on your eyes
Recollections to be stolen by a thing we call Death.

Resist.

Stronghold on the last breath of life thinking
This is not the way and this won't be the end
But you're getting what you thought you wanted
Moment by moment, and you're a thing we call Death

Death.

Should I say goodbye?
Or are you coming back to see what you lost?
You used to believe in a thing we call death,
The end turns out, now Death becomes you.

The Letterhead
by The Wicked

I have my eyes half open,
Barely seeing things moving
As I hold my felt-tip pen,
To finish the letter I was writing.

It wasn't much about me,
Nor was it about you.
All you'd see were dates
Of my last days being with you.

There were no written "hellos",
Not even a simple "how are you".
This letter wasn't about those things,
It was about the "I must leave you".

So I took another parchment,
As my hands were shaking in lament,
For I have no mouthful words to say
'cause they were meant to put you in dismay.

For my every word, i shed a tear
That made the letter so unclear.
It's not because I'm not a good writer,
My tears just made it look so blur.

I've finished the letter now,
And sorry for the smudges of red.
I didn't mean to throw up on it.
I just couldn't get out of the bed.

And if ever you'd receive the letter,
I want you to just remember
That I used to make a no-good matter
So this one is not their member.

I wrote my location on the envelope
If ever you wanted to visit me.
And you would know the letter came form me
If the heading says, "It's from the Cemetery."

This is a song I wrote... And from what I know songs are a kind of poetry...

Dear Sweet Angel
by The Wicked

Dear Sweet Angel,

Can you tell me where the end of the line begins?
Cause I can’t seem to find a way to just go back
I can’t find my home.
I’m lost and I don’t know where to return.

Oh loving mother,

Do you know what it’s like to live a life selfishly?
I’ve lived a life no different from the others.
Will you forgive me?
Please tell me there’s more to life than this

Iniquity
Dishonesty
Infidelity
From innocence to violence
Where nothing is as pure anymore

So if I have one reason to exist
Please tell me now
Before I hand myself to Him
Comfort me the fact that there’s still hope
And all is not lost
All is not lost

Dear Sweet Angel,

Is it true when they say that living is worst than dying?
That’s exactly how I feel about my life now
And I resent it
Can you find me away to turn this all around?

And to my brothers,

Are we any different at all on our insides?
Still we wound ourselves when we keep on hurting each other
And they won’t heal now
Just promise me you’ll find away to –

Ease the pains
Stop this war
Save this world from peril
So what died before will live again
And force me to survive before it’s too late

So if I have one reason to resist my own extinction
Let me hear you loud and clear
Comfort me the hope for something new
Where all is not lost
All is not lost

Father,

Can you hear me?
Cause I can’t hear you
I can’t find you

Father,
Can you see me?
Cause I can’t see you
I can’t find you

Come find us
Come find us
We need you

I need you...

Dear Sweet Angel?

Ceasefire
by The WIcked

Hand in hand there was no letting go
I looked around and everything seemed right
I recall those things from a distant past
But now they’re gone.

Gone.

Just close your eyes and think of happy thoughts
I know you’re scared, you must stay strong
‘Cause you know there’s nothing better than a brand new day
And tonight.

Tonight...

Hold my hand tighter and we’ll make it tonight
Just hold my hand tighter and we’ll make it tonight.

‘Cause there’s always something there
Waiting for us in case we’re losing hope

Don’t say it’s all over now,
There’s always something left to think about

And you know that it’s all that we wanted
It’s all that we hoped for, it’s all that we asked,
Nothing more.

Dark and red are all that I can see
I looked around but no one else was alive
I’m bounded on the floor, I can’t hold on
‘Cause now they’re gone.

Gone.

Just wipe your tears but never hold them back
I know it hurts, you must go on
Cause you know there’s nothing better than a brand new day
And tonight,

Tonight....

Hold my hand tighter and we’ll make it tonight
Just hold my hand tighter and we’ll make it tonight.

‘Cause there’s always something there
Waiting for us in case we’re losing hope

Don’t say it’s all over now,
There’s always something left to think about

And you know that it’s all that we wanted
It’s all that we hoped for, it’s all that we asked,
Nothing more.

I know things might get to the worst
And tomorrow, we may not be there.

But it doesn’t matter now...

It really doesn’t matter now...

‘Cause there’s always something there
Waiting for us in case we’re losing hope

Don’t say it’s all over now,
There’s always something left to think about

And you know that it’s all that we wanted
It’s all that we hoped for, it’s all that we asked,
Nothing more.

It’s all that we wanted
It’s all that we hoped for, it’s all that we asked,
Nothing more...

Hand In hand there is no letting go.
Now look around...
It’s a brand new day.

Genuine Faux

You're far too kind
And it scares me the most.
Behind those oh so innocent grin,
I know the evil lies way deep within.

Unscathed, so immaculate
Nothing has ever touched your virgin skin
How about I burn the flesh inside you?
Served on a sizzling hot plate.

So pretty yet so delicate
No man has ever tasted those pink curved lips
Dainty fingers that seductively touches
A man who's vulnerable under you spell.

You smile like an angel
But you're worse than the devil
Prententious, conniving
And intentionally inviting
You turn the sober to a drunkard
And a sinner to a saint.

And they're all under your spell,
Doing everything as you bid.
Slowly but surely you take their souls,
Devour them to satisfy your own

You've made them ignorant...
but I know better.
They treat you like a goddess
But I know you better

You seem so real, so true - A genuine...
Oh yes, a genuine faux indeed

No matter how many people you fool, you will never fool me.
