Thankyou lovesmelikeyesterday for your lovely words and for taking the time to read and comment. I know i say that to almost everyone but i truly mean it. It means a lot that you like it.

So last night i could not sleep for there were so many things going on in my head. I had to get something down (before I had a hope of sleep) and the following is a result. Read if you wish, comment if you wish, no problem if you don't wish to:

10. Faceless attraction

How am I falling for a guy with no face
no image, no features that can be placed
every minute, every second of your company
'remind me how this came to be?'
undeserving of your time and care
yet longing for a moment, a hug we can share

Then the doubts begin crawling back
how could you like me when love for myself I lack
Ugly and crazy. Should be left untouched
I'd probably f*** up your very core
I couldn't live...being unable to restore...

But then I dare to imagine
that we could share a spark of passion
create an everlasting moment
you comfort me, your aura potent

Slowly I come back to realisation
this can only happen in my imagination
The reality? My face, my body instilling hatred
Ruining the fantasy you had already created,
but you will only know when it's been done.
Your life, then at least, could continue on

Memories would get me through
of that wonderful embrace between us two.
At least now the guy has a face
What might it take to get this image replaced?

Thankyou if you have taken the time to read this.

it speaks for itself really

11. Dont kid a kidder

Who am I kidding thinking that I can write
O woe is me my life such a plight
It has all been said before
In the very songs we adore
I have nothing to say except another cliche

Maybe this time its time to try something else

Something that works
when its put into verse
instead of the same old subject matter
the life I ripped to tatters

Its weird how the memory plays so many tricks
Which poem was the wost? Go ahead take your pick
I have no doubt that when I look back
This one will seem just as equally bad

There was one time when I picked up the lead
and I just wrote whatever came into my head
smething to which even now i relate
maybe that is the best I will ever create.
