Katy Perry is an American singer-songwriter from Santa Barbara, California.
She is best known for her hit song, "I Kissed a Girl", which hit #1 on the billboards on June 25th, 2008.
Her debut album, One Of The Boys, has gotten mixed reviews.

Personally, I think she's really good. Her other songs are WAY better than I Kissed A Girl. She has very witty lyrics, and a unique voice.
I suggest listening to the song "Hot n Cold", and "Ur So Gay".

I just saw her on Thursday, and she was AMAZING.
"Oh, hi Mom... I'm in Massachusetts... You heard what?! Well... I... Uh... I guess I did kiss a girl." She was awesome.

I adore her.
She's awesome.
I cannot wait to see her at Warped.
atleast, I think she's going to be there..
but yeah, my favorite song of hers is "Waking Up In Vegas"

During Hot n Cold, she waved to me and my friend because we were the only people dancing. And we were screaming and standing on our seats.
SHE'S RLYGOODLIVETRUSTME!
And it was so cute! During GCH's set, someone said something, and Travis goes, "Well, my girl is into kissing girls, so it's alright."
And then before Katy came out Travis made the crowd chant "KATY! KATY!" and during hot n cold she kept smiling at him. It was too cuuuuute.

I didn't really like her at first, but now I kinda do. =) Her music is so catchy!
Plus I read that she was a PK (pastor/preacher's kid) and I thought that was rad, 'cause I am too. x)
Any songs you guys wanna recommend? I've only heard a few and I'm interested in hearing more of her music...
Hahahaha my friend made me wait to meet her at Warped cause he has a crush on her. It was only fair considering I forced him to wait 45 minutes to meet Fred Mascherino

I ABSOLUTELY adore Thinking of You, Self Inflicted, and Waking Up In Vegas, but I love all the songs.
And did anyone else see the thing on E! news or whatever where they interviewed her and asked if she really did kiss a girl and what celebrity she would kiss? She said, "I'm saving myself for Miley Cyrus!" and she was OBVIOUSLY joking, but everyone was like, "Uhhh... okayyy."
I thought it was hilarious.
It made my mom like her.

katys one of those but shes added her own flair, which is why she has a lot of fans, because a lot of people are like her these days. especially a lot of ppl on ino.
