Bright Eyes is an alternative indie band lead by Conor Oberst. Bright Eyes began in Nebraska, including Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nate Walcott. The lyrics are deep and meaningful that can apply to anyone. It doesn't matter what genre you prefer, Bright Eyes can please anyone.

I love Bright Eyes. One of my favorite bands. ugh. They're so perfect.
Has anyone listened to Conor's new self-titled album? The whole thing is streaming on his website.
It's amazing, but that's, like duh.

I'm also seeing Bob Dylan in August, and honestly, I don't know which one I'm freaking out about more. This is going to be pretty much the best upcoming two months ever, Dylan and "the new Dylan," as countless critcs have referred to Conor. |

He played all of the new solo album, a brand new song "Ten Women," a couple of older songs, and a rockin' cover of Paul Simon's "Kodachrome" that he said was in "honor of my mother." He was already pretty drunk and/or high when he came out, but he still managed to play and sing every song exactly like it sounds on record or better. Also, already being drunk wasn't exactly shocking, as the show was at a dive bar that's fairly famous for its debauchery around here. |
