He's so unselfish and caring, and I can say that truthfully because I've seen the things he's gone through. He's done so many stupid things, and we do have little fights like every sibling does, but he's my brother and I love him and I wish I could be more like he is. |

There are absolutely no words to describe my deep love and admiration towards Heath Ledger. You know, he's not just my absolute hero because of his death. I have been a Heath Ledger fan since he first started out. I have followed him through all this success. He was my absolute love and my meaning to life. Now that he is no longer with us, I feel that there is nothing much to live for. I can no longer hear his tantalizing voice and his smiles brings pain to my heart and to my soul. I watch his movies and all I can think about is how he was such an amazing individual who just wanted the best for everyone. He's gone and there's nothing much I can do except think about him endlessly until the day I get the absolute honor of meeting him in heaven. His death has killed me inside and I don't think I'll ever be the same person without him. |

i've known of him since 2002 when the used released their first album, the used. i was in junior high back then,
in the 8 th grade. god, he caught my eyes from that very second.
he's such an inspiration to me and his voice is love.
the used is without a doubt my favourite band and i saw them live for the first time on june 27th this year.
it was the most amazing experience i've ever been a part of and it will never be forgotten.
when bert came onstage, he actually looked at me smiling, while giving me two thumbs up as he noticed
i had this heart-shaped balloon that stood "i <3 the used".
he is an amazing vocalist and singer and he's overcome so much in his life, dealing with expulsion from his
own family at the age of 15, his alcoholism and drug abuse before he even was 20 and the loss of his
ex girl friend and their unborn child when she was 8 months pregnant.
i could go on for years talking about bert and telling you what an amazing person he is.
wow, i truly truly love him, from the bottom of my heart.
i look up to him and you want to know why? cecause he's lived through shit that i’m feeling.
i see bert mccracken and i see a hero. my hero.
so, yes; he is indeed my inspiration and hero. for sure.
