The Fawn

Tasting the ever cleaner air,
in the meadow of the tall grassy plan,
have trees in shadow,
not seeing whats lurking in them,
I took the first step of my life,
and another,
i finally got the hang of it,
I felt my adreniline pumping,
my heart going to explode,
and took of in a never ending gallop,
loding sight of the one who gave me this life,
I heard pounding from behind me,
thinking she wanted to play,
when all that happened was my lfe ending to fast,
I could see the claws streching to reach me,
felt them dig into my new fresh skin,
felt the warm red rusted smelling blood pooling over my hindquaters,
I was weighed down and dragged into the never ending darkness.
