I write poetry, obviously. Nothing special, jsut something I sometimes write along the edges of paper when I'm bored. I'll add some more eventually, but for right now, here's the title poem:

[please note that my poems seldemly rhyme, so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere.]

Broken Hallelujah
Rise up in the church pews
sing the sad songs
look at the tear tracks
etched across your face

and wonder if
it's possible
that somewhere, somehow,
he still exsists

The pastor's preaching
words you cannot hear
all you can hear
is his voice in your head,
whispering one last 'I love you'

what you would give
for one last night, one last night with him,
he'd hold you close,
and comfort you, tell you it'll be alright,

but it won't, because he's gone
you'll never see him again.
And you try to imagine a world without him in it,
but you can't even begin to think.

You are still numb, but soon you'll wake
up and feel the pain
And no one will be there

I can't promise you it'll be okay
because it probably won't,
you'll move on, eventually, but
he'll still always be there

oh wait, the song starts now
and the voices surround you
you join in, and help them sing,
the broken hallelujah

[Comments and CONSTRUCTIVE critisism [spl, I'm dead beat right now] are appriciated. .

Here's a song I wrote a couple weeks ago, since songs are just poetry, I figured I'd post it here.
--River Of Tears--
A million broken hopes and wishes
we know much too well what this is
this is war
this is what everyone is fighting for
every mother cries for her son, the sister for her brother,
the wife for the one who was killed without a secound thought by them
We're so joyful when one makes it home
but we become sullen when we remember those left alone [to die]
justice and mery don't always walk hand in hand,
so we choose justice we choose to take a stand
every mother cries for her son, the sister for her brother,
the wife for the one who was killed without a second thought
by them
look at all the broken crumpled bodies [the y cry out]
telling you to fight the battle for them [they died out]
so let the mothers, the sisters, the wives cry, [broken tears]
the river, the river, the river of tears.
