I searched, and couldn't find an Emilie Autumn thread.
So I decided to make one!
Anyone else like her?
I love her!
I love the fact that she's a feminist as well.
She's amazing, and someone I can actually look up to as a person. |

:]
Girls Just Wanna have fun is my favorite of the two. I find it interesting she uses "doctor" in the lyrics instead of "father." Does she not like her father?
(Not that I can blame anyone for not liking their father...)
Also, the interview she gave for VampireFreaks is awesome. It's right here. They ask her different questions; ones other than the usual "how do you do your hair?"
I can't wait for her book to come out. : D |

I can't wait for the book to come out, too. It worries me though. She'll be selling it during tour dates. She better tour the US soon. I've been waiting for years. |

I haven't even ordered it yet. xD
I'm getting around to it... but I just ordered another cd so it may be a month or so...
Yeah, I know. D:
Out of like 10 tour date(Asylum:The Gate) she only has one in the US, and it's in NY.
I live on the other side of the country.
And I'd really love to see her live, the shows look like so much fun in the videos I've seen. |

I'm supposed to go and see her in NYC on Nov 10, but I will probably not make it since The Smashing Pumpkins will be on tour that same week and they come before anything for me.
So if anyone wants a ticket, mine will most likely be for sale soon. I'd hate to see it go to waste. |

I saw this thread and I decided to look her up. About 10 seconds into a song, I loved the artist already. Such a unique sound. Wow. I'm dumb-struck. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 22895 | December 13th, 2008 at 01:42am Yes, she's one of the most unique artists I know of.
I love her fashion sense too; it's a bit girly for me though.
I'd like dressing in a more masculine version of it; fitted, shredded, Victorian-style suits, lacy shirts, maybe bloomers...
Hell, I might end up making an outfit like that, it sounds great.
/slightly unrelated ranting
I'd definitely never mix her up with anyone else, if I heard it playing.
Her instrumental tracks are also great.
I'd love to meet her too, she seems really smart and like she'd be interesting to talk to. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 22895 | August 25th, 2009 at 07:44pm Emilie Autumn signed to The End Records, who also have Dir en grey.
The Opheliac Companion and Deluxe edition are coming out on this label. Other albums will soon become easier to obtain in the US. Yay.
She's also hinted at a music video, hopefully soon...
I fucking love Dir en grey but actually dislike the route they began when they signed to them...
I think Emilie's going to retain her style and personality, though, as it seems to be a part of her. She's dressed crazy since at least the age of seventeen.
Is anyone even reading this? x] |

Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 186298 | February 13th, 2011 at 01:37am Emilie Autumn is my favourite singer and I love her, she's amazing.
I've been listening to her since November 2009 but it feels like so much longer.
I saw her on November 29 that year and I'm trying to get my mom to let me see her on February 18.
I can probably relate to Emilie more than I can with any other artist. |
