though there is a door
you decide to stay inside
your aware of the outside world
but you would rather hide
deep in the shadows
you sit alone
watching life pass you by
some may call you shy; depressed inside
but you know your insecure
you dont have to lie

The roses that lye on you chest are as red as the blood you once held. My tears of sorrow fell as if they were rain Nothing can explain my hurtful pain The moon wont shine anymore and the stars wont glow The night sky is now as blank as the death in your eyes Your silent cries, never herd.

This poem [i wrote myself] is dedicated to my aunt who died from abuse.
