I never thought that this could happen .
When words cut like knifes .
Inflicting pain on all my lives .
Ignoring me is what you do .
I always tried .
The pain just grew .
I'll sit here waiting .
In the dark .
Your words once lit a hopeful spark .
if I told you I loved you .
Would you tell the truth .
Or avoid me again .
What's the use ? |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 82 | October 9th, 2008 at 10:50pm i really like how you use simplicity to the fullest and take it to the point where it's almost not even simple anymore. i would recommend to work on where you place rhyming words.
this really shows you have capabilities and the potential for beauty in your writing. keep practicing and keep posting! |

You've come so far .
To see the man .
That left this scar .
I'll hide in fear while he shows his face .
But not for long .
he won't stay in his place .
When you came the first time .
I did not start .
To think of the things you did to my heart .
never again will you hurt me so .
When you do your magic I'll just stay back .
While you show off your famous disappearing act .
i didnt know I had to have all my poems on one thread ... oops . : D |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 343 | December 28th, 2008 at 12:49am My star grew a sun.
My moon Shine Brighter.
My eyes grew wide
and my wings took me higher.
But my fire put out .
My world turned to black
My bones have now broken .
I won't get it back.
But somehow I know .
These things have not lost.
My senses were vivid
My thoughts were wild.
Overwhelmed by these gifts.
I grew greedy for guilt .
Your hands to come closer.
your face for my eyes.
But I got lost in my want.
So I am left with this need. |

This Love without color.
Life moves on .
You just can't live it .
Without that voice in your ear.
When I hear it I want to die .
I see it all around
Who have their voices
and their hearts.
So I push mine to the floor.
Get out from behind my eyes
and meet me in the real life.
Darling Don't be scared. |

Your sounds will engulf me .
Shatter to bits
and love this color
of lilacs and grass
we fall from the sky.
without the music of the mountains
We imitate the real.
And call it fantasy.
What we want shall be our downfall.
which is how I started on my road to bliss. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 343 | December 28th, 2008 at 12:54am You gave it all to me .
And took it away.
Yet s I lay here in painful slumber .
I cant help but smile at your reasons.
Because my dear
You soon will see
Down pours the ashes
to set your love free.
You say to one it's complicated
But to me it's so simple.
This steel cord.
SO hard to break.
But easy to ignore
Don't be so ignorant
And stand A bit taller dear. |
