It's propably a lot easier dealing with the record labels and management and Dark Horse and things since everyone and everything is in L.A. Hopefully (I shouldn't say this I'm sorry Gee) but the paparazzi will find out where he live and we'll see him all over the web all the time (sorry again Gee)

If you respect Gerard you'd know he doesn't want or deserve to be hounded by the paparazzi constantly. He deserves his privacy and the chance to live his life, he's earnt it. The message from Bob is proof enough that the boys are taking the time out to keep us updated and that for me is enough. His happiness means more to me than any selfish desire to have more photographs of him.

Maybe he moved in California to work easier on his comic [I think I heard that Gabriel Ba (illustrator of The Umbrella Academy) is from California]. Or maybe it's just for holidays. x)

And many publishers hire freelance artists and writers from all over the world. Florida (where I live) has several, in fact, who work for DC/Marvel -- and both of their offices are located in NYC.

Perhaps he just lives there because, you know, he WANTS to live there? I mean, everybody's got places that they'd like to live, so maybe L.A. just happens to be that place for him.
